Stuck behind bars for the immediate future, Lane Garrison has decided to make use of his time by teaching his fellow convicts a lesson- on how to write and act in screenplays.
According to TMZ, the L.A. County Sheriff put the former star of ‘Prison Break‘ to the task of teaching acting lessons to a score of prisoners. The mentoring is part of the “Merit” program that intends to teach marketable real-world skills to inmates.
Another part of the program sees Lane Garrison giving a crash course in screenwriting.
TMZ reported that his experience moved the ‘Prison Break’ actor so much that Garrison reportedly promised the Sheriff that he will continue mentoring the prisoners after he is released.
Lane Garrison was arrested after a domestic violence arrest last month. He remains in L.A. County Jail because he broke parole for his vehicular manslaughter conviction back in 2007.

One of the few homes Terrell Owens still owns is now being targeted by a bank for foreclosure.
According to TMZ, the former NFL star allegedly owes over a million dollars on a Miami condo- and now the bank that loaned him the money intends to foreclose on it.
Back in April, Deutsche National Bank sued Terrell Owens for owing them $1.47 million and for failing to pay his loan for 6 months. TMZ got hold of the mortgage documents attached to the lawsuit, and the legal paperwork stated that Owens originally took out a loan worth $1.55 million in 2006. The documents also said that Owens made regular monthly payments of $5,126 until November last year.
Owens responded to the Deutsche National Bank lawsuit by declaring that the bank “lacks standing” to foreclose the Miami beach condo. Owens also refused to admit that the property had an outstanding balance problem.
Terrell Owens had already been forced to sell off several of his other homes, the latest being his Dallas condo, which went for much less than its original asking price.

OneRepublic drummer Eddie Fisher pleaded not guilty this Wednesday following charges slapped against him by his girlfriend Lonnie Weygant on Tuesday.
E! News reported that the musician was charged with assault, destruction of private property, wrongs to a minor, and two counts of disturbing the peace. Fisher paid $550 in bonds.
According to The Denver Post, Fisher’s girlfriend filed charges after alleging the OneRepublic band member threw her down during an argument.
Lonnie Weygant didn’t discuss why they were arguing, but she did tell Denver’s Fox 31 News what happened when Eddie Fisher snapped.
“Things just got out of hand and he snapped,” Weygant said to Fox 31 News. Saying “My entire cabinets are ripped off from my walls,” Weygant “had my feet up against the wall trying not to let him in” when Eddie Fisher “busted through the door and he pushed me through the cabinets.”
TMZ reported that Lonnie Weygant also posted a request for the media to respect her on her Facebook. “I cannot ask the media enough to respect my situation and children in all this mess,” she posted.
Admitting “While this is all very exciting for the public eye,” she reminded the media that “It is truly hard to swallow for me and my kids. All I can ask,” Weygant requested, “Is that you give us the space needed to get past this difficult time.”
Eddie Fisher presented a different, simpler side of the story to Denver police. According to The Denver Post report, the OneRepublic drummer claimed that Lonnie Weygant struck him on his forehead and took away his dog.

After Suge Knight recently proclaimed that Tupac Shakur was homophobic, the family of the late singer spoke up on the matter, saying that Tupac was “great friends” with gay designer Gianni Versace.
According to TMZ, Suge Knight recently embarked on a media blitz with multiple radio stations. The former CEO of Death Row Records claimed at each of those radio stations that Tupac Shakur ended a professional relationship with hip hop star Dr. Dre because Tupac believed Dre to be gay.
Suge Knight then followed up this claim by alleging that this was a motive for Dr. Dre to supposedly murder Tupac.
However, TMZ was informed by sources close to the estate of Tupac Shakur that his family called Knight’s accusations to be “totally false.” Shakur’s family point to Tupac’s close friendship with the famous- and openly gay- designer Gianni Versace.
In fact, according to his family, Tupac participated in a Versace fashion show in Italy back in 1996 -the same year he was murdered- and even modeled a suit designed by Gianni Versace himself.
Suge Knight himself had been alleged by some to have been the murderer of Tupac Shakur, as he was the one who drove Tupac on the night of the rapper’s murder. Knight has earlier alleged that Tupac is not dead, merely in hiding.

The defense team of John Edwards suddenly rested its case on Wednesday without calling on the North Carolina senator’s baby mama Rielle Hunter, Edwards’ eldest daughter, or Edwards himself.
According to Perez Hilton, rumors were rife that Rielle Hunter, the mother of ex-senator Edwards’ illegitimate baby -whom he earlier called a “crazy slut”-, could be called to take the stand in his defense.
The prosecution spent weeks hammering John Edwards for allegedly using North Carolina constituents’ money to fund secret trysts with lover Rielle Hunter. Some sources opined that Miss Hunter -the supposed target of all that misspent money- might have been the best person to refute the prosecution’s accusations.
Other hotly anticipated witnesses for the defense were the former North Carolina senator’s eldest daughter, Cate Edwards, and John Edwards himself. In the end, the defense team chose to end on the closing notes of a financial investigator.
Closing arguments for both sides are set on Thursday. Edwards’ fate will then lie in the hands of a jury of his peers.
John Edwards faces half a dozen felony charges for breaking multiple federal campaign contribution laws. If the jury convicts him on all counts, the 58-year-old Edwards could spend up to 30 years in prison.

E! News exclusively reported that two separate sources spotted ‘Terminator: Rise of the Machines‘ star hauling boxes outside a West Hollywood apartment complex on May 10. Nick Stahl supposedly wore a white T-shirt and tan pants.
The actor’s estranged wife, Roseann Stahl, claimed she last saw him the day after the source supposedly came across him.
According to the E! News exclusive, the West Hollywood eyewitness said that the actor “does this sometimes.” The source added, “He’ll be back.”

Roseann Stahl filed a missing-persons report this Monday when her husband did not appear for his scheduled visitation.
Since February, Nick Stahl and his wife have been contesting for custody of their two-year-old daughter Marlo. Roseann Stahl filed court documents to request that Stahl be professionally supervised during his visitations and that her husband should pass a drug test before he saw the child.

The line of men accusing John Travolta of sexual misconduct grows as a personal trainer joined his voice to those of two masseurs and a former cruise ship manager.
According to Perez Hilton, the new accuser -who preferred to remain anonymous like the two John Doe masseurs who preceded him- alleged that he opened the gym he worked at to let Travolta get a workout in private.
“The gym was opened as a courtesy to John Travolta,” a source told Perez Hilton, “So that he could avoid the public yet maintain his fitness in this physically challenging role that he was doing at the time.”
The Hollywood star supposedly showed his appreciation by reaching for the groin of the personal trainer. “The gym employee says that John Travolta groped and fondled him against his will,” said the source.
Neither the source nor the accuser identified the movie in question that Travolta was preparing for during the time of the alleged assault.
The new accuser has yet to state if he will sue John Travolta for alleged sexual misconduct.

According to Kim Kardashian, her Skechers Shape-Ups worked for her, so she’s not getting a refund for them and she might even wear them on occasion.
TMZ reported that Kim inked a year-long deal with Skechers to tout Shape-Ups as a shoe that helps the wearer tone her body and lose weight. But the Federal Trade Commission now claims that those claims are sketchy and announced that purchasers were entitled to refunds.
Kim Kardashian was a habitual Skechers Shape-Ups user. And she insisted to her family and friends that the shoes did tone the back of her legs and her considerable bottom, which was the reason why she signed the original contract with Skechers.
Her deal with Skechers ended in January, but Kim Kardashian admitted that she stopped advocating the shoes before the deal ended because she began to hear about new research that showed the shoe didn’t work.
A Skechers representative informed TMZ that the company agreed to pay $40 million in settlement costs. However, according to the rep, the company only agreed to settle because it would be less expensive than dealing with more lawsuits.
The company stands by its claims that Shape-Ups can tone the bodies of wearers, and their settlement agreement allowed Skechers to continue endorsing the brand as a toning shoe.
Similarly, while Kim Kardashian claimed she wouldn’t endorse Shape-Ups now, she is also not ditching her pair.

Anonymous masseur John Doe No. 1 hired civil rights lawyer Gloria Allred for a possible legal rematch with John Travolta.
The Hollywood Gossip reported that Allred informed People magazine, “I represent John Doe No. 1.” Agreeing that “Mr. Doe’s lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice,” Gloria Allred declared it only meant that “He is still legally entitled to file another lawsuit against John Travolta if he chooses.”
After saying that “We are in the process of conferring with him regarding the next steps” that the masseuse wanted to take., Allred declared that “Our client and our firm has no further comment.”
Gloria Allred is known for taking on sexual misconduct cases against A-list celebrities like Tiger Woods and Arnold Schwarzenegger. She has previously challenged Travolta’s lawyer, Marty Singer, in the case of golfer Woods.
John Doe No. 1 filed a $2 million lawsuit on May 4. He graphically alleged that John Travolta exposed himself and acted inappropriately during a massage session.
After Travolta’s lawyer, Marty Singer, offered evidence that suggested John Travolta was in New York at the time, Doe No. 1 admitted to possibly making mistakes on the date and time of the incident. He was then dropped by his lawyer, Okorie Okorocha.
Okorie Okorocha continues to represent a second masseur -this one from Atlanta- who alleged much the same behavior on Travolta’s part.
“People are going to come forward to get their 15 minutes of fame” at the expense of John Travolta, said Marty Singer, who slammed the allegations of sexual misconduct as “false” and “absurd.”

Even before he vanished–which prompted his wife Roseann to file a missing-person report on Monday–Nick Stahl reportedly worried his wife.
E! News obtained access to court papers that alleged Nick, 32, to be involved in a child custody battle with wife Roseann Stahl over their 2-year-old daughter Marlo Stahl.
Back in February, Roseann filed a request with a court that that her husband should not be allowed to visit their daughter unless he was supervised. She also asked for both legal and physical custody of Marlo Stahl, with Nick Stahl to receive only visitation rights.
According to the court papers, Roseann Stahl estimated the ‘Terminator: Rise of the Machines‘ actor’s 2011 income to be around half a million dollars. Roseann’s own income: $0. Her total monthly expenses: $6065. So Roseann requested Nick Stahl pay $3807 monthly in child support on March. The actor agreed.
Per the visitation order, Stahl was granted supervised visitation with their daughter. His visitation was to be monitored by a professional monitor. He was also forbidden from taking alcoholic beverages or narcotics at any time within the 24 hours before his scheduled visitation.
In addition, Nick Stahl was also ordered to provide a negative drug test result for marijuana, cocaine, and alcohol within 24 hours prior to his visitation. The ‘Terminator: Rise of the Machines’ star further needed to fax a copy of his negative drug test results over to Roseann Stahl at least six hours before he visited their daughter.
After filing the missing-person report on Wednesday, Roseann Stahl tweeted, ”Thank you for the kind words.’ She also retweeted a plea for anyone who knows where Nick Stahl is to inform the LAPD.
