A car accident on New York’s Long Island Expressway sent rapper 50 Cent to the hospital in a neck brace on Monday night.

According to The Inquisitr, the 36-year-old Cent was riding his bullet-proof SUV when a red Mack truck read-ended him. Cent’s vehicle nearly flipped over from the impact.

Initial early morning reports stated that 50 Cent was rushed to the hospital after what they described to be a serious car accident. Thisis50.com showed pictures of Cent conscious in a neck brace and on a stretcher. The rapper did not appear to be in serious pain at the time.

The Inquisitr reported that Cent stayed in the hospital for treatment and testing done on his neck and back. His representative later reported that the rapper was released on Tuesday morning.

“(50 Cent) was taken to New York Hospital Queens,” the rapper’s rep told the Daily News, “Where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries.” The rep added that Cent “was released this morning and is doing fine” after the car accident.

Gossip Cop reported that the truck driver, Bruce Miller, was also treated for injuries. ThisIs50.com stated that the driver told police that he lost control of his vehicle after his load shifted.

Both the NYPD and the FDNY had been unable to immediately confirm early reports regarding the car  accident.

Last month, 50 Cent was hospitalized for surgery. He tweeted photos of himself bedridden and accompanied by stuffed animals sent by DJ Drama.

During an interview on ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter,’ 50 Cent was hard-pressed to name people he could confidently claim to love him or have his back in a pinch.

According to The Huffington Post, the 36-year-old ‘Do You Think About Me’ rapper -whose real name was Curtis James Jackson III- was being interviewed by Oprah Winfrey. Oprah asked Cent to name the people he knows genuinely love him, and she commiserated with him when he struggled to answer her question.

50 Cent could only name his grandmother Beulah Jackson -who reportedly doesn’t even listen to his songs- and his son Marquise Jackson.

“Short periods of time?” Cent clarified. “Lots of people. But that’s not true love,” he admitted to Oprah Winfrey. “That’s perhaps opportunistic love.

The Huffington Post reported that Oprah Winfrey hit an even bigger block when she asked him whom he could depend on to watch his back. The rather stumped 50 Cent finally pleaded that he didn’t think he could definitely count on anyone that way if it ever came to that.

“I have asked myself this question,” Winfrey told Cent regarding her earlier question about people who really loved them. “It’s not a very long list,” she admitted.

Talk show host Oprah Winfrey and rapper 50 Cent famously feuded years ago, with Cent naming his female dog after Oprah and his cat after Oprah’s editor. They recently patched things up on ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter’ while also agreeing to continue disagreeing with each other’s opinion.

No stranger to celebrity feuds, rapper The Game advised Chris Brown and Drake to end their beef as soon as possible.

TMZ came across the rapper exiting Roxbury nightclub in Hollywood last Friday. When asked about the bottle-throwing brawl, the 32-year-old ‘Pot of Gold’ singer expressed his belief that his fellow R&B stars should end their beef quickly.

“Chris Brown is like my little brother, man,” The Game said of Brown, with whom he collaborated on several tracks, “And Drake is a cool dude.”  According to the senior rapper, Brown and Drake “just need to cut that out. It ain’t worth it,” Game assured TMZ.

The Game entered a famous feud with 50 Cent and Cent’s hip-hop gang G-Unit back in 2005. Years later, Game attempted to reconcile with Cent and G-Unit by issuing an apology through MTV. Cent and G-Unit, however, refused on the suspicion that Game was bipolar. The feud between the two rappers and their cliques endures today.

Despite -or perhaps because of- his friendships with Chris Brown and Drake, The Game expressed his disinclination to broker a peace treaty between them. “I’m gonna stay out of their beef,” he told TMZ, adding that that “It’s for the birds.”

Oprah Winfrey and 50 Cent ended years of feuding on the Sunday episode of ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter.’

According to E! News, the rapper -whose real name is Curtis Jackson- appeared on Oprah’s show. He was grilled about the fact that he named his female dog after the popular talk show host.

“That was not a compliment,” Oprah Winfrey opined. “I heard you had a bitch named Oprah!” she pointed out to the 36-year-old rapper.

50 Cent sheepishly admitted to the intended slur. “At the time, I was just looking at the situation,” he explained, “And I saw I was developing negative feelings for someone who doesn’t even know me…”

After admitting that he named his female dog after Oprah  Winfrey to vent his negative feelings, Cent also added that he has a cat named Gayle. (E! News presumed that he named the cat after Gayle King, Oprah’s friend and editor of ‘O, the Oprah Magazine.’)

“I would see moments when you would discuss your feelings on the culture,” 50 Cent told Oprah Winfrey, “And everything that was wrong with the culture,” he noted, “Was what was on my CD.” According to Cent, it led him to think “Oh, [Oprah] doesn’t like me.”

According to E! News, 50 Cent sought to establish a relationship with Oprah, even if it was negative. “I was saying, ‘If I can’t be your friend,” Cent said, “At least let me be your enemy, so I coexist.”

Oprah Winfrey then brought up his earlier statement that she “had white women in [the] audience that were as old as [his] grandmother.” Oprah felt that it was a “pointed criticism.”

50 Cent replied that what he meant to say was that “It’s a conservative audience. Their kids are listening to [my music],” Cent noted, “And they look for something that allows them to be a little rebellious,” which is how he described “rap and roll” to be.

“You need black people and white people to watch you,” Oprah said regarding that same matter.

The The OWN mogul and the rapper also discussed the use the N-word.  Oprah Winfrey opposed the use of the racial slur. ”When you’re actually using it with malice in your heart,” 50 Cent -who frequently uses the N-word in his songs- countered, “You can feel the difference.”

Rapper 50 Cent announced on Twitter that he has been hospitalized for possible surgery- and the only things keeping him company are a handful of stuffed toys from DJ Drama.

According to TMZ, the rap mogul  put up a couple of pictures of himself confined to a hospital bed on Wednesday. His series of tweets suggested a surgical operation in the works.

“I’m in the hospital,” 50 Cent tweeted, adding “but my gangsta grillz LOST TAPE is done so it will be out on time.”

Another tweet confided a concern shared by many a hospital patient before him. “I don’t want to go into surgery,” Fiddy complained.

Despite his apparent fear of surgery, the rapper also took time to poke fun at DJ Drama, whom he worked with on ‘Lost Tape,’ 50 Cent’s first album under the Gangsta Grillz brand.

“Do not do a @djdrama gangsta grillz is all I get,” he tweeted. Saying his hospitalization is “a b*tch,” Fiddy added, “I give 15 tracks you give me this.”

Attached to the tweet was a picture of the bedridden rapper surrounded by stuffed toys of a lion, a rhino, and a giraffe, which were apparently sent by a humorously-inclined DJ Drama.

50 Cent did not shed any light on the reason for his hospitalization. Even his own rep could not tell Gossip Cop any details.

Rapper 50 Cent has been sued by Robert Poindexter of the R&B band, “The Persuaders” for allegedly sampling one of his band’s songs and releasing it for free online.

According to reports, Robert Poindexter filed the lawsuit in New York, claiming that 50 Cent used a snippet from one of his band’s tracks, “Love Gonna Pack Up and Walk Out” on a 2009 song called “Redrum” and then included on a mixtape called “War Drum” that the rapper posted online for free.

Robert Poindexter says in the suit, “Fifty Cents [sic] has not denied the infringement, but appears to be basing his defense solely on a frivolous and immaterial claim that the illegal version is not being commercially exploited, but is given away for free.”

Now, Robert Poindexter is suing 50 Cent for unspecified statutory damages and an additional $600,000 in punitive damages, plus interest.

Chelsea Handler may have “seen” it all, but is the public ready to take more than just a peek into the private parts of rapper 50 Cent? It looks like the Super Bowl this year will be a lot more interesting, especially now that 50 Cent made a bet on Twitter with one follower under the username @MyBestAssets.

Recently, the 36-year-old 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson won a bet of $500,000 on the New York Giants during the NFC Championship game, even posting on Twitter, “just watched a $500,000 football game get on my level Chumps.” And it looks like he has a lot of faith on the team as he believes in the Giants’ ability to knock off the New England Patriots in the upcoming Super Bowl game on February 5. Hence, his confidence and enthusiasm to accept a bet of one Twitter follower:

@MyBestAssets: @50cent Lets bet. If the Giants lose the Super Bowl, u must post ur d*ck on the twitter. If they win, I’ll post my boobs & face on here. Bet?

50 Cent then replied, “OK” accepting MyBestAssets challenge!

“Ok It’s a bet. See your d*ck on twitter Feb 5. Lol,” she wrote.

Will the whole wide world see the peen of 50 Cent on February 5? Or will he win the Super Bowl bet? That is something for everyone to watch out for!
