Rapper A$AP Rocky has entered a plea of not guilty to charges that he and a companion of his tried to rob two photographers last week in New York after they tried taking pictures of the rapper.
On Friday, 23-year-old rapper A$AP Rocky and A$AP Bigga Bar$ filed legal docs, pleading “not guilty” to charges of 2nd degree robbery. As previous reports have stated, A$AP Rocky — whose real name is Rakim Mayers — was arrested by the police last Thursday together with his rap crew buddy A$AP Bigga Bar$ after they got into a brawl with a couple of amateur photographers. The two rappers allegedly tried to take some items from the two men.
The two rappers are both scheduled to appear in court again on Wednesday, though the reason for the second court appearance is currently unclear.
As for the two amateur photographers who were taking pictures of A$AP Rocky, they were apparently left with bruises and cuts after the melee, and one of them even had to be taken to the hospital to have his injuries treated.

Rapper A$AP Rocky has been arrested by the New York Police Department officers after a fight broke out on the streets, which involved the rapper.
According to reports, 23-year-old A$AP Rocky — whose real name is Rakim Mayers — was arrested by the cops after he got into a physical fight with a pair of passers-by on the street who were trying to take photos of him, all while he was having a heated argument with a third, unidentified person. Reports say that A$AP Rocky allegedly started fighting with the photographers, leaving cuts and bruises that required one of them to be treated in a nearby hospital. Media outlet TMZ said that the rapper was arrested due to the fight and was booked on suspicion of attempted robbery. Authorities reported that the two rappers attempted to take items from the guys they were fighting with. The police officers then broke out the fight and subsequently put handcuffs on A$AP Rocky and another member of the hip hop crew A$AP Mob — Sheldon Jabari, commonly known as A$AP Bigga Bar$ — who, for some reason, was shirtless during their arrest.
A$AP Rocky, a member of the A$AP Mob collective, had a performance over the weekend at the Pitchfork Music Festival. He is due to make his network television premiere on July 20 on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.”
“LongLiveA$AP,” the rapper’s major label debut, is slated for a September 11 release date, but the MC told Billboard recently that a record featuring his entire A$AP Mob hip-hop crew — including A$AP Twelvy, A$AP Yams and A$AP Ferg, among others — will be out before that.
