Rapper A$AP Rocky has entered a plea of not guilty to charges that he and a companion of his tried to rob two photographers last week in New York after they tried taking pictures of the rapper.

As previous reports have stated, A$AP Rocky — whose real name is Rakim Mayers — was arrested by the police last Thursday together with his rap crew buddy A$AP Bigga Bar$ after they got into a brawl with a couple of amateur photographers. The two rappers allegedly tried to take some items from the two men.

The two rappers are both scheduled to appear in court again on Wednesday, though the reason for the second court appearance is currently unclear.

As for the two amateur photographers who were taking pictures of A$AP Rocky, they were apparently left with bruises and cuts after the melee, and one of them even had to be taken to the hospital to have his injuries treated.

“LongLiveA$AP,” the rapper’s major label debut, is slated for a September 11 release date, but the MC told Billboard recently that a record featuring his entire A$AP Mob hip-hop crew — including A$AP Twelvy, A$AP Yams and A$AP Ferg, among others — will be out before that.
