Amber Riley shocked everyone -most of all herself- when she collapsed on the red carpet this Tuesday night. Gossip Cop reported that the ‘Glee’ star was busy holding interviews at an Academy of Television Arts and Sciences event for her hit show. Then, without warning, Riley lost consciousness and fell to the ground.

She soon recovered enough to continue participating in a panel with her ‘Glee’ co-stars. Amber Riley later assured her worried fans on her Twitter account that she was “okay.”

“I got a little dizzy from all the photog flashes!” Riley explained. “You’d think I’d be used to it by now, still a red carpet amateur I guess,” the actress humbly admitted.

Amber Riley was just as thankful to the photographers on the scene for being “professional and not taking photos of me on the ground.” The ‘Glee’ actress admitted that it “could have been super embarrassing.”

After reassuring ‘Glee’ fans by saying she now feels “fine,” Riley also promised that she would “get checked out” as soon as possible.
