CNN host Anderson Cooper ripped into a fellow passenger who was snapping shots of him without his permission.

Gossip Cop reported that Kathy Griffin welcomed her good friend Cooper, 45, on her talk show ‘Kathy’ Thursday night. Her fellow talk show host told Griffin of an incident that took place earlier that day during an early morning flight from New York to Los Angeles.

According to Anderson Cooper, he was seated beside skater Johnny Weir on the 6 a.m. flight. Cooper was dozing off when he realized that there was a fellow passenger seated nearby who was taking photos of him.

“Normally,” the CNN news anchor told Kathy Griffin, “I would just be like, ‘We’re not going to win this one.’” However, Anderson Cooper then admitted that “I’ve lately become emboldened,” perhaps referring to paparazzo-punching incidents involving Justin Bieber and Alec Baldwin.

Gossip Cop reported that the normally-suave Silver Fox admitted that he “grabbed the guy on the shoulder,” bared his fangs, and snarled something along the lines of “B*tch, what the f**k are you doing?” at the startled passenger.

Anderson Cooper said that he immediately regretted his angry reaction. “It was one of those things, as soon as I said, ” he admitted to Kathy Griffin, “I was like ‘I can’t believe I said this to this guy.”

Venerable host Anderson Cooper has put up with many a celebrity and guest, but Sarah Burge -better known as the Human Barbie- was too “dreadful” even for him.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, Cooper could not hold back his disdain for Burge -who holds the Guinness World Record for most plastic surgeries- on ‘Anderson.’ Calling her “dreadful” and nearly at a loss for words, the Silver Fox ended up chewing out the Human Barbie in mid-interview.

Halfway through the segment, Anderson Cooper was asking Sarah Burge why she allowed her teen daughter to get a Botox treatment. As Burge tried to explain that the Botox treatment was to keep her daughter from sweating less during beauty pageants, Cooper abruptly cut her off.

“I gotta be honest,” Cooper said, asking the Human Barbie to “Just stop.” Apologizing and saying that he tried to stay “really polite” to his guests, Anderson Cooper declared that “I just think you’re dreadful. I honestly don’t want to talk to you anymore,” he said.

In a video statement released after the show, Anderson Cooper said he regretted the way the interview ended. He also regretted his decision to invite Sarah Burge over on ‘Anderson.’

After Rush Limbaugh lambasted him Wednesday, Anderson Cooper spent some time on his Thursday CNN show returning the favor,

According to The Huffington Post, conservative talk radio host Limbaugh discussed on his Wednesday show how CNN  went through its lowest rated month in a decade. Limbaugh then blamed the decline on Anderson Cooper. He further criticized the latter for spending too much time in gossip columns.

“I swear, that guy is reported more in gossip columns at the gym, or at that bar or restaurant than he is in the studio,” Limbaugh said. ”And CNN probably thinks that’s great: ‘That’ll be good for the demo! Anderson out there doing all this stuff, people will be curious and tune in and watch.’ It isn’t working!” Rush Limbaugh declared.

THP reported that Anderson Cooper responded by featuring Rush Limbaugh on Cooper’s ‘RidicuList’ segment. Cooper described Limbaugh as the “broadcaster of the highest caliber known for taking a carefully measured, well thought out approach to each topic he tackles.”

After playing Limbaugh’s critical clip, Cooper compared it to Limbaugh’s infamous attack on Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke.

“I don’t know if you noticed, but he spoke for a quite a while there and didn’t call me a slut even one time,” he noted. ”Now I don’t have my Rush to English dictionary handy, but I’m pretty sure that means we’re best friends now.”

Professing surprise at learning “that Rush Limbaugh was such an avid gossip enthusiast,” Anderson Cooper said he could count the amount of bars he’s been to on one hand. He also confirmed that he does frequent the gym- and then encouraged Limbaugh to
“try the gym from time to time.”

Finally, Anderson Cooper invited Rush Limbaugh to prop up “the National Enquirer right there on the Elliptical, crank up the volume on Access Hollywood, and get [his] research done at the same time [he's] improving [his] big heart.”

After British rapper M.I.A. made headlines for flipping the bird during her performance with Madonna in Super Bowl, the artist is making headlines once again, and this time M.I.A. is trading jabs at Twitter with CNN news show host, Anderson Cooper.

The feud started innocently enough when M.I.A. pointed her fans to a new documentary on Britain’s Channel 4, “Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields.” The apparent lack of news coverage about an issue close to her heart – the slaughter of Tamil civilians in her native Sri Lanka – led to a heated exchange with Anderson Cooper and allegations that the journalist branded her M.I.A. a “terrorist.”

Then M.I.A. tweeted: “someone should make @AndersonCooper watch it / film it and show the world what happens when respected journos get it wrong.” M.I.A. added: “@AndersonCooper called me a terrorist for speaking out, and expressed support for the SLgov when this was happening.”

That statement of M.I.A. prompted a response from Anderson Cooper: “What are you talking about?” Cooper tweeted. “You are mistaken. I never called you a terrorist. I don’t even know who you are other than the lady who sang at superbowl…By the way, I defended your finger pointing at the superbowl, so check your facts. I’ve no idea what youre tweeting about.”

M.I.A. replied to Anderson Cooper, writing: “in 2009 u linked to a articl that was written about me with false info. there was a rebuttal on ur 360 site…2 months later 1ce every tamil had been silenced including me, the SLGOV carried out the killing of 40, 000 civilians. YOU CALLED ME A LADY TAMIL TIGER when i talked about tamil civilians dying, and u printed a retraction.”

“you’ve gone from saying ‘I wrote’, ‘I called you,’ to saying my cnn show blog had a link to an article. Big difference…we link to many articles with different viewpoints, and we gave you an opportunity to respond. I can understand your frustration if someone wrote untrue things about you, and I’m glad you were able to respond,” tweeted Anderson Cooper.

The final tweet of Anderson Cooper tweet held a diplomatic note: “the brutal war in SL has not gotten enough coverage in the US, and I know that’s very upsetting.”

This seemed to cool rapper M.I.A. a bit, passively concluding: “im glad u understand but please watch #killingfield because this is what i was trying to say.”
