Ex-NBA star Antoine Walker is officially free and done with his bankruptcy case – so now, the Idaho Stampede forward can breathe easily.
As previous reports have stated, 35-year-old Walker had to liquidate his property to pay back his creditors, and it included an NBA championship ring he won when he was still a member of the Miami Heat in 2006. But now Antoine Walker – who was in debt for $12.7 million despite reportedly making $110 million in his NBA career – has been discharged from his bankruptcy case by a Federal judge on March 21.
As part of the bankruptcy case, Antoine Walker completed a personal finance management course on March 16. However, there are still some loose ends for his bankruptcy trustee, the biggest one involving “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada, Walker’s ex-fiancée. It is previously reported that the trustee is going after Lozada for $500,000 Walker gave to Lozada, allegedly under fraudulent terms. The said case is still pending.
