And the third award for being apprehended in West Texas due to marijuana possession goes to… Armie Hammer! Hollywood star and “Social Network” actor Armie Hammer who played the role of the two Winklevoss twins was arrested by authorities at a border patrol checkpoint in West Texas when K-9 agents retrieved what is believed to be marijuana in the actor’s vehicle.

Sierra Blanca was the same small town in Texas where American country music singer-songwriter Willie Nelson and rapper Snoop Dogg were nabbed due to the same charges of marijuana possession. According to police records, they recovered 0.02 ounces of marijuana, three medicinal marijuana cookies and one brownie from Armie Hammer, enough to get him in trouble.

But it looks like Armie Hammer got some stroke of luck in him as El Paso’s district attorney renounced the prosecution for marijuana possession, saying that felony requires more than 4 ounces of actual pot. The county attorney  then decided to give Armie Hammer lesser charges since the case is going back to the local sheriff. Kent Schaffer, lawyer of Armie Hammer said no charges have been presented, but the actor was put in jail for a day before bailing out on a $1,000 bond.

Looks like West Texas checkpoint will be a hot spot for other stars now. Who will be the next one to join Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg and Armie Hammer? Better watch out folks!
