Country music singer Blake Shelton, more famously known as one of the judges in the reality competition “The Voice,” has some issues – more specifically drinking issues.
According to reports, 35-year-old Blake Shelton recently boasted that he drinks “alcohol and always will until I die,” adding, “And I don’t care if you like it or not.”
But it seems like his new wife, Miranda Lambert, is getting fed up with her husband’s drinking issues.
“Blake is married, but he still lives like a hell-raising bachelor,” a pal of the singer said, adding that Blake Shelton often parties until the wee hours of the morning, while his wife tours. “Miranda is beginning to draw the line.”
However, it seems like Miranda Lambert isn’t the only one who is getting tired of the crooner’s drinking issues. The bigwigs behind “The Voice” are hardly impressed by his attitude.
“The producers recognize that Blake is a natural on TV, and they believe he’s even capable of having his own sitcom,” a source claims. “But they think he needs to tone down the partying, or he could scare away the show’s wholesome viewers.”
While a rep for Shelton denies the allegations, the pal says he sometimes shows up at the set sick after a drinking binge.
“It takes makeup artists an hour to make him look presentable. Everyone is annoyed.” As the pal of Blake Shelton concluded, “He’s throwing away the opportunities of a lifetime.”
