Bob Beckel, one of the anchors of Fox News, accidentally swore on national television while “The Sean Hannity Show” was live on-air.
According to reports, during the Tuesday night episode of “The Sean Hannity Show,” Bob Beckel, who was appearing as a guest, apparently forgot that the show was on live television. Beckel was not aware that they had just come back from a commercial break, suddenly shouted the “F” word at fellow panelist, Jennifer Stefano.
What followed was a very confused exchange in which Hannity, obviously stunned with what happened, apologized to viewers while Bob Beckel said, “I just can’t stand right-wingers running their mouths all the time… I’m not going to apologize. We’re not on the air.”
It took a few moments to convince Bob Beckel that he was live on the air when he said the F-word. When the news anchor finally figured it out, Beckel just said, “Oh, okay, good. Why didn’t we know we were on the air?”
After the incident, he apologized: “I’m sorry about using that foul word, yes, but the intent about it is still there. The intent is there, but the use of the word, I didn’t realize we were on the air, and you should run your show a little better instead of having me get caught like that.”
“No personal responsibility,” Jennifer Stefano said. “He’s a liberal.”
