Actor Brendan Fraser is currently facing a lawsuit from one of the producers of a movie he is set to star in, claiming that Fraser physically assaulted him twice.

According to reports, the 43-year-old “Bedazzled” star was sued by a man named Todd Moyer, one of the producers of the upcoming movie “The Legend of William Tell” — a movie that has been in the works since the year 2011.

In the lawsuit, Moyer claims that he was at at the Hilton Hotel in Indianapolis on July 27, 2011, when all of a sudden, an inebriated Brendan Fraser began to “physically push, verbally threaten and poke [Moyer] in the chest repeatedly.” The movie producer did not elaborate further and did not specify what caused the alleged physical assault.

And just six months after the first attack, Moyer claims the actor assaulted him again on January 31, 2012. it was during a meeting about their movie at the offices of Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

Todd Moyer claims that Brendan Fraser demanded him to hire a movie producer named Charlotte Huggins to work on “The Legend of William Tell,” to which Moyer refused. That was when the actor allegedly got angry and started yelling threats and subsequently hitting Todd Moyer in the chest at least 20 times.

The movie producer said that he suffered from an extreme physical pain and mental anguish. Now, he is suing Brendan Fraser for at least $25,000 in damages.

Reports also said that Brendan Fraser actually filed a lawsuit first against the same Todd Moyer, claiming that the movie producer has messed up the film, which resulted in delays that has forced Fraser to pass up on other work. The actor is demanding more than $3 million in damages, and that case is still ongoing.
