Bristol Palin, daughter of former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin, is facing yet another lawsuit due to her “deliberate, malicious and despicable” actions which resulted in emotional distress to the plaintiff.
According to reports, the plaintiff, talent manager Stephen Hanks, filed the legal docs on June 28. He is seeking unnamed compensatory damages, emotional distress damages and punitive damages from Bristol Palin. Hanks filed the lawsuit the first time in U.S federal court in Los Angeles on June 13, following aired promos of Lifetime which features him and Palin in a widely publicized heated verbal argument at a West Hollywood bar. Hanks said that the incident was filmed back in September 2011 without his permission, subsequently demanding Lifetime to cease airing the said footage. Bristol Palin was reportedly thrown from the bar’s famed mechanical bull when suddenly, Stephen Hanks, who happens to be a customer there as well, yelled, “Did you ride Levi like that?! Your mother’s a w*ore!”
A camera crew was able to catch the action as Bristol Palin, smiling at first, marched over to confront the guy, who proudly introduced himself later as Stephen Hanks. As E! online transcribed it:
“What’d you say?” Bristol Palin asked Stephen Hanks. “Your mother’s the f–king devil,” Hanks shouted. “She lives, she breaths,” he retorted, when Bristol asked what her mother had done wrong.
“You want her dead?” she asked. Hanks answered, “If there is a hell…she will be there…She’s evil.”
Bristol Palin then asked, “Is it because you’re a homosexual?” Hanks said, “Pretty much,” to which Bristol exclaimed, “And that’s why you hate her.”
When asked why Bristol thought Hanks was homosexual, she said, “Because I can tell you are. That’s a nice wife you’ve got there,” she added, referring to the man next to him.
However, Stephen Hanks eventually dropped the federal lawsuit when he “learned of additional defendants” only to be filed the case in state court right away. As reported by Deadline, Bristol Palin, Lifetime’s parent company A&E Television network, series production company Associated Television International, and “Life’s A Tripp” executive producer David McKenzie are all being sued. In his 15-page civil complaint, Stephen Hanks claims that Bristol Palin’s “deliberate, malicious and despicable” actions, he has “suffered harm to his profession and occupation and expended money as a result of the statements.” During an interview, Bristol Palin told celebrity magazine In Touch that the incident at the bar was one of the reasons why she decided to leave Los Angeles and return to her home in Wasilla, Alaska instead.
In the exclusive interview with In Touch, Bristol said that she was approached by a man at the Saddle Ranch in Los Angeles and said nasty insults to her about her prominent family. After her verbal altercation with Stephen Hanks went viral, Bristol Palin realized that she was done with showbiz and that she had never felt completely at home in the Lower 48. “I wasn’t really into the Hollywood thing,” Bristol said. “After that, I just realized that I was over it. I was ready to come home.”
However, Hanks alleges in his lawsuit that Bristol Palin had bought a new house in Alaska back in July 2011, and that she had defamed him in public by putting the blame on their encounter for her decision to leave Los Angeles. This is said to be the second lawsuit filed against “Life’s A Tripp” in the past month. Bristol’s former “Dancing With The Stars” castmate Kyle Massey, brother Christopher and mother Angela also filed a lawsuit against the producers of Bristol Palin’s show, charging that the Masseys generated the concept and started shooting a series which involved them and Bristol, only to be “erased.” However, unlike Stephen Hanks, Bristol was not named as a defendant in the 31-page lawsuit filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court against Associated Television International, Helping hands LLC and David McKenzie.

Earlier, Bristol Palin got sued by a heckler who didn’t want to appear on her reality show. Now her show’s producers are being sued by Kyle Massey -her cast mate from ‘Dancing With The Stars’- because he was supposed to appear on the reality show.
According to E! News, the former star of ‘That’s So Raven,’ brother Christopher, and mother Angela have sued the producers of ‘Bristol Palin: Life’s A Tripp.’ Kyle Massey and his family charged that they came up with the concept for the reality show and were supposed to appear on it. They also alleged that they were unceremoniously cut out of the show and not compensated.
Kyle Massey named Associated Television International, Helping Hands LLC, and David McKenzie, as defendants in his lawsuit with the Los Angeles Superior Court. Among the specific charges were bad faith, breach of contract, copyright infringement, fraud and deceit, misappropriation, tortious interference, and unfair competition.
E! News reported that Kyle’s mother said that they spent “months of trying to resolve this matter the professional way” with the defendants. According to Angela Massey, it was ” unfortunate” that they had to take legal action to protect themselves.
“If you read the entire complaint,” Angela said in her statement, “You will see how we created the show, registered the show, and did all the leg work to bring this idea to TV and to the defendants, who stole our concept.”
According to the Massey’s lawsuit, ‘Bristol Palin: Life’s A Tripp’ was supposed to be called ‘Helping Hands.’ As originally conceived, the Massey-Palin show would appear on the Bio Channel. Bristol Palin and her son, Tripp, would room with the Massey brothers. The foursome would attend various Los Angeles charitable ventures together.
Chelsea Kane -Kyle’s fellow Disney Channel star- told E! News last year that she predicted the team of Palin and Kyle Massey in ‘Helping Hands’ would make for “must-see television.”
The current iteration of the former ‘Helping Hands’ now focused on Bristol Palin readjusting to life as a single mom. The reality show would mostly take place in her home state of Alaska with only brief stops in L.A. and Phoenix.
Kyle Massey and his family asked the L.A. court for damages and a permanent injunction against the producers of ‘Bristol Palin: Life’s a Trip.’ from profiting on the concept they allegedly stole from the Masseys. Bristol Palin herself was not named as a defendant in the 31-page lawsuit.

Last September, Stephen Hanks was caught on camera heckling Bristol Palin and her mother Sarah Palin at a West Hollywood bar. This Wednesday, he sued Bristol in federal court for using his image to promote ‘Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp.’
E! News obtained court documents which detailed Hanks’ claim that Bristol defamed him. According to Hanks, the 21-year-old Bristol implied in an interview that she moved back to Alaska because of him. Hanks also objected to Lifetime using his image in promos for its upcoming reality series, ‘Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp.’
E! News further reported that a source close to Bristol Palin had confirmed reports of the lawsuit. The single mom’s camp intended to get the lawsuit thrown out.
According to the E! News source, Bristol suspected that Stephen Hanks planned all along to heckle her to get attention. The source noted that Saddle Ranch shared a parking lot with Hollywood TV. ”Instead, she confronted him,” the source said.
It so happened that a Lifetime camera crew had been following Bristol Palin during the time to shoot ‘Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp.’ The cameramen recorded the altercation, which made Hanks mad.
Hanks’ attorney exclusively told E! News that no one ever asked client to sign a release. Attorney Michael Gulden said that Stephen Hanks didn’t know that he was being filmed until Bristol Plain and her party left Saddle Ranch. Saddle Ranch management later informed Hanks that Bristol’s crew received permission for limited filming of ‘Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp.’
When Hanks spoke to Lifetime parent A&E about the allegedly unlawful use of his image, Attorney Gulden accused the network of being unresponsive, leaving Hanks and Gulden had no other choice but to file suit.
“He felt this was the only way he could protect his rights,” Attorney Michael Gulden said, and added that Hanks was “simply a patron at the bar.”
While Bristol Palin rode a mechanical bull, Stephen Hanks was caught on tape yelling “You’re mother’s a whore!” at her.
“He was with friends when he observed that Bristol was on the mechanical bull,” Attorney Gulden told E! News. Hanks’ lawyer explained that several bar patrons began talking about how they disliked Sarah Palin.
That was when Bristol Palin, who had finally fallen off the mechanical bull, approached Stephen Hanks. After he told her that he wanted her mother Sarah Palin to go to hell, Bristol asked if Hanks was “a homosexual.”
Hanks took the bait and asked why she assumed that. ”Because I can tell you are,” Bristol Palin told him. She gestured to his male companion and said, “That’s a nice wife you’ve got there.”
(This is from a woman who blasted President Barack Obama for supporting marriage equality.)
Stephen Hanks later issued an apology through his lawyer. Hanks admitted that he shouldn’t vented his opinion on Sarah Palin on Palin’s daughter.
“I wish Bristol success with her television show,” Hanks said during the time of his apology, “And much happiness in the future.”
Stephen Hanks sued Bristol Palin for unspecified damages for alleged defamation, invasion of right to privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and misappropriation of right of publicity.

If he wants real money real fast, Levi Johnston may have to forget about selling exclusive information and just pose for Playgirl again. And this time, it’ll be full frontal.
According to The Huffington Post, the baby-daddy of Bristol Palin is broke, living at his mother’s Alaska home, and currently expecting a daughter with girlfriend Sunny Oglesby. So Johnston resorted to a familiar plan to make money.
A TV insider informed the HuffPost that “Levi made over a million dollars selling TV and print interviews to the press” during his time with the pregnant Bristol Palin, during their break-up, and when they briefly reconciled. “And now he is hoping to do the same,” the insider said of Levi Johnston, “Selling access to his new daughter.”
Already, ‘Inside Edition’ -an outlet that pays for access- had received exclusive information from Levi Johnston. For example, Johnston revealed his new daughter’s name: Breeze Beretta, after the company that made his favorite gun.
But selling exclusive information may not make enough anymore. “Will TV shows and weekly magazines pay Levi?” a magazine editor familiar with Levi Johnston commented. ”Yes, but not the same sort of money he got when he was with Sarah Palin’s daughter,” the source said.
“He will be lucky to get $5,000-10,000 for pictures of his daughter,” the editor told The Huffington Post. “Even if he got back with Bristol [Palin],” the source opined, “I’m not sure anyone cares anymore.”
Daniel Nardicio, the former vice president of marketing for Playgirl, agreed with the magazine editor. ”Levi’s value has stagnated somewhat,” Nardicio informed The HuffPost, “due to his not being in the public eye except for missed child support payments.”
Outside of a full-time job, one of the ways for Levi Johnston to earn fast cash would be to pose for Playgirl again. Except this time, according to Daniel Nardicio, he needed to show everything on Playgirl.
“I believe if he were willing to go full frontal,” Nardicio said, “I could get him a pretty fair deal.” He cited a $25,000 paycheck for a full frontal nude layout on Playgirl. “I was privy to his endowment,” Nardicio added about Levi Johnston, “And can say he has nothing to be ashamed of.”

Bristol Palin doesn’t find any of the jokes Bill Maher cracked about her to be funny. In fact, according to her, Maher is “a joke”- and worse.
According to The Hollywood Gossip, the daughter of Sarah Palin will be the star of a new Lifetime reality show, ‘Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp,’ that is set to debut next month. That drew the attention of talk show host Maher, who recently joked that Bristol will probably name her next baby Colt 45.
“Levi Johnston having baby named Beretta after fav gun,” Bill Maher tweeted about Bristol’s baby daddy, who was expecting another kid on the way with new girlfriend Sunny Oglesby. “Bristol will name her next kid Colt 45,” he opined, “After what shes drinking when she gets pregnant.”
The Hollywood Gossip reported that all the jokes and attention got to Bristol Palin. ”I find it really weird that all these adult men,” she said in an interview with Zap2it, “That they’re always trying to say something about me.”
According to the ‘Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp‘ star, men like Bill Maher, who are “older than my dad,” are “just evil. They’re like little girls.” After saying that “I feel like I’m in high school with a bunch of teenage girls,” Bristol described the attention as “very strange to me.”
Asked by Zap2it what she would say to Bill Maher if they ever met, Bristol Palin admitted that she didn’t know. “I’m not sure what I would say,” she deliberated. “I’d kind of shake my head at him,” Bristol finally decided, and added that “I think he’s a joke.”
Her mother was reportedly more decisive on a plan of action regarding Maher. ”My mom just heard me say something about Bill Maher,” Bristol said. Former presidential candidate Sarah Palin reportedly said that “I’d punch him in the throat!”
Bristol Palin somewhat agreed with her mother’s sentiments about Bill Maher. “Someone does need to put him in his place,” she said. ”If my dad or any of my guy friends got a hold of him,” Bristol predicted, “He’d have another think coming. He really is a joke,” she repeated.

You can tell Levi Johnston that he’s broke and that he lives with his jailbird mom at her home in Alaska. Just don’t call the former fake fiance of Bristol Palin a “deadbeat dad.”
According to The Hollywood Gossip, sources said that Johnston is now broke after he wasted an estimated $1 million in earnings on “guns, boats, and four-wheelers.”
“Levi Johnston hasn’t paid child support in nearly two years,” a source told US Weekly in its latest issue. “And he has little contact with Tripp,” his son by Bristol Palin. The 22-year-old Johnson recently hit back at claims he is an awful father. “No,” he told Inside Edition, “I never will be [a deadbeat dad].”
“I love Tripp more than anything,” he added, “And he is my son- but I don’t feel like a dad to him,” Johnston admitted. “Not by choice, though…
Levi Johnston is best known for getting Bristol Palin -the daughter of former presidential candidate Sarah Palin- pregnant. The two permanently broke up after two engagements. Johnston is supposed to be providing Bristol Palin child support.
“Hopefully,” Johnston shared with Inside Edition, “One day I can be [a proper dad].”
If so, it will be with Sunny Oglesby, whom Levi Johnston got pregnant during a hunting excursion. The couple will reportedly name their daughter Breeze Beretta Johnston, after the firearms company that produced Johnston’s favorite gun.

In a web blog post titled ‘Hail to the Chiefs – Malia and Sasha Obama,’ Bristol Palin slammed President Barack Obama for justifying his decision on marriage equality by mentioning his daughters.
According to E! News, The daughter of Sarah Palin hammered how President Obama based his decision on the opinions of his teenage daughters Malia and Sasha. “While it’s great to listen to your kids’ ideas, there’s also a time when dads simply need to be dads,” Bristol wrote in her blog.
“In this case,” Bristol Palin opined, “It would’ve been helpful for [Barack Obama] to explain to Malia and Sasha that while her friends parents are no doubt lovely people, that’s not a reason to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage.”
“As great as her friends may be,” the 21-year-old Bristol continued, “We know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home.”
Bristol Palin expressed her belief that fathers should shape their kids’ worldview. “In this situation,” she noted, “It was the other way around.”
According to her, it was a good thing “that Malia and Sasha aren’t younger.” Bristol alleged that the announcement by Barack Obama “might have been about appointing Dora the Explorer as Attorney General because of her success in stopping Swiper the Fox.”
“Sometimes dads should lead their family in the right ways of thinking,” concluded Bristol Palin.
“In this case, it would’ve been nice if the President would’ve been an actual leader and helped shape their thoughts,” she said, “Instead of merely reflecting what many teenagers think after one too many episodes of ‘Glee.’”
Bristol Palin is the single mother of 4-year-old Tripp Easton, her son by former fiance Levi Johnston.

Birthday boy Levi Johnston plans to name his new daughter by Sunny Oglesby after a balmy zephyr- and his favorite gun. ”Breeze Beretta Johnston,” Oglesby told Inside Edition when they were asked what they will name their baby girl.
“Like the gun, Beretta?” the interviewer asked, referring to the Italian firearms manufacturer.
“Yeah,” the 20-year-old Sunny Oglesby answered, laughing.
“My favorite shotgun,” Levi Johnston added. He then showed off the “Breeze” tattoo on his right bicep. Tattooed on his other arm is ”Tripp,” the name of his son with Bristol Palin.
Levi Johnston celebrates his 22nd birthday today. He first came into public attention when Sarah Palin announced that Johnston had gotten her daughter, Bristol Palin, pregnant. Johnston and Bristol later broke up; Bristol retains sole custody of their son Tripp.
Last month, Johnston admitted during an interview with The Insider that he and Sunny Oglesby were surprised by the conception of the future Breeze Beretta Johnston.
“It was unplanned. There was a time we went to the cabin and forgot the birth control pills and a month later we found out we were having a baby,” Levi Johnston related.

Bristol Palin, the daughter of Sarah Palin who ran for the position of Vice President back in 2008, argues that his former fiance, Levi Johnston, owes more than $38,000 in child support.
According to reports, Levi Johnston, who is required to pay $1,750 a month in support for the ex-couple’s three-year-old son Tripp, has not given a single dime to Bristol Palin in 22 straight months.
The attorney of 21-year-old Bristol Palin released a statement, saying “We forbore pursuing child support collection in the (perhaps naive) hope that Mr. Johnston would do what men are supposed to do and pay his support obligation voluntarily.”
Palin’s lawyer added that his client preferred not to enforce a court order that directs Levi Johnston to pay child support out of concern “that garnishment or other aggressive collection efforts could exacerbate an already strained relationship.”
Levi Johnston blamed the Palins for trying to inhibit him from seeing his son. However, the other side is telling a different story: “We have never hidden Tripp from Levi or discouraged Levi from spending time with him,” Sarah and Todd Palin said in a statement. “We’re disappointed that he continues to spread falsehoods to garner media attention.”
