Cheech and Chong crashes car into house from “Next Movie”
A vehicle just crashed into an East Los Angeles house last week — the very same house Grammy-award winning comedy duo Cheech and Chong smashed up in their movie over 30 years ago.
According to reports, in the 1980 classic “Cheech and Chong’s Next Movie,” the stoner duo smashed their van onto the front lawn of a house and then proceeded driving through the fence on the way out.
The last week, a Chevy HHR drove through the fence of the very same house that was crashed in the said movie. The homeowner said that he was not at home at the time of the crash, and is currently getting a repair estimate for the broken fence. The owner of the house added that he did not even know he was living in the house from the Cheech and Chong movie until the accident happened.
Cheech & Chong consists of Richard “Cheech” Marin and Tommy Chong, who found a wide audience in the 1970s and 1980s for their films and stand-up routines which were largely based on the hippie and free love era, and especially drug culture movements, most notably their love for cannabis.
