Fiance of Christina Applegate threatened on Twitter
A crazy Twitter fan is threatening “Married… with Children” star Christina Applegate and her fiance with bizarre, terrifying messages such as, “I’ll blow your f***ing head off!!!”
According to reports, the Los Angeles Police Department has already launched an investigation after musician Martyn LeNoble — fiance of actress Christina Applegate — has been subjected to threatening tweets from an anonymous Twitter account.
Law enforcement sources said that LeNoble got the menacing tweets on September 20, and according to the legal documents filed in the case, the tweets included: “You stole [Christina] away from me. If not for you she would be mine.”
The tweet from the crazy fan went on, saying: “I will not accept this. I am going to kill you!!!!!!!!!”
Six days later, the Los Angeles Police Department obtained a search warrant, which was served on Twitter HQ in San Francisco. The documents list several other alarming threats against Martyn LeNoble:
- “I’m going to bust your head in for taking her away from me!!! Be afraid, be very afraid!!”
- “You think this is a joke? I want to see how funny you think I am when I blow your f**king head off!!!”
However, the biggest problem cops are facing is that the Twitter account threatening the fiance of Christina Applegate is anonymous.
According to the search warrant, Martyn LeNoble did not recognize the Twitter profile sending the threats. Police want to access Twitter’s records related to the profile, which has been reportedly deleted.
The rep of Christina Applegate hasn’t returned calls for comment.
Applegate is best known for playing for the role of Kelly Bundy on the FOX live-action sitcom “Married… with Children.” Since then, she has established a film and television career, winning a Primetime Emmy and earning a Tony and a Golden Globe nominations. She has major roles in several films including “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead,” “The Big Hit,” “The Sweetest Thing,” “Grand Theft Parsons,” “Anchorman,” “Farce of the Penguins,” “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel,” and “Hall Pass.” Christina Applegate has also starred in several Broadway theatre productions such as the 2005 revival of the musical “Sweet Charity.” As of May 2012, she is starring in NBC’s comedy, “Up All Night.”
