Playboy Playmate of the Year 2011 Claire Sinclair has reportedly quit Playboy for the time being, after she was allegedly kicked and beaten in a violent altercation with her on-and-off boyfriend Marston Hefner.

According to sources close to 20-year-old Claire Sinclair, the model has canceled all future Playboy-related appearances, events, and photo shoots while waiting for the outcome of her domestic violence case with Marston Hefner. Sinclair has hired powerhouse attorney Keith Davidson who said, “We are taking this matter extremely seriously and we are completing a thorough investigation into this situation.”

Early this month, 21-year-old Marston Hefner was arrested by the police after allegedly kicking and punching Playboy star Claire Sinclair during a heated argument in their Pasadena, California apartment. The Playboy model got a restraining order against Hefner, and later said she would not press charges against him if Marston Hefner gave a public apology and got psychiatric help. The incident is currently under investigation.

Claire Sinclair rose to stardom when she was declared as the offician pin-up and Playboy Playmate of the Year 2011.

Although it is never an easy thing to talk about a domestic assault incident, Playboy Playmate Claire Sinclair thought it was necessary for her to open up and be candid about the alleged violent altercation with her boyfriend, Marston Hefner. Claire Sinclair hopes to educate other women with her painful experience.

Claire Sinclair shared her recollection of the the whole dispute with Marston Hefner to E! News, commencing with her version of Sunday night’s heated argument.

“We had just freshly moved into the apartment, and I know Marston was a little stressed out about it, and Marston has been unstable throughout the whole course of our relationship…and we got into an argument about something really silly and it kind of escalated and it became violent,” Claire Sinclair confessed to E! News.

“Initially, he [Marston Hefner] kicked me and I went backwards, I fell. Then he punched me and grabbed me up, and I scratched him to defend myself. It was very shocking,” Claire Sinclair said and went on to show the bruise on her arm which she earned during the assault of Marston Hefner.

Additionally, the 2011 Playmate of the Year Claire Sinclair said that Hugh Hefner, father of Marston Hefner and Playboy Enterprises founder, and Marston himself did not make an effort to reach out to her after all that has happened.

“Nobody, no support. Nobody’s empathetic or concerned. It’s more like, cover it up and protect the image, you know what I’m saying?” said Claire Sinclair.

The 20-year-old Claire Sinclair went on saying, “In one aspect, I’m ridiculously offended by the way things are being handled, on the other aspect, I understand. It’s family. And they’re looking out for their name, and I understand that but they need to, at least, recognize what has happened and apologize for what has happened.”

Claire Sinclair also confessed that the recent altercation is not the first instance of domestic disputes in her two-year relationship with Marston Hefner.

As of the moment, 21-year-old Marston Hefner has not given his response yet to E! News’ request for comment.

As we reported in one previous post, Playboy Playmate Claire Sinclair recently had a violent altercation with her boyfriend, Marston Hefner, son of Playboy Enterprises founder Hugh Hefner, which later led to the arrest of Marston Hefner for alleged domestic assault. And although Claire Sinclair told TMZ and the media that she is willing to drop the charges and give a chance to Marston Hefner to come clean, the Pasadena Police says it is not possible.

After the violent argument on Sunday, where Marston Hefner allegedly punched and kicked Claire Sinclair, leaving her with bruises and red marks, Claire Sinclair still seems to be willing to forgive Marston Hefner. Claire Sinclair said that if Marston Hefner gives a public apology, gets psychiatric help, and admits to the public that he had hit her more than once, she would not press charges. Claire Sinclair also added that Playboy told her Marston Hefner would meet those requests.

However, according to the authorities in California, they will still pursue the charges against Marston Hefner, with or without cooperation from the 2011 Playboy Playmate of the Year, Claire Sinclair. “She cannot just drop the charges. The state does the prosecution,” said Lt. Phlunte Riddle of the Pasadena Police Department.

Additionally, Lt. Riddle said, “Obviously the court wants the cooperation of the victim, but because of issues of intimidation and women feeling powerless, the state of California can pursue the case [with or without her].”

For several years now, the State of California has had very strict laws when it comes to domestic abuse cases to protect the victims. Even if a party does not wish to pursue charges, if there is an injury, they will make an arrest and go with prosecution if warranted.

Marston Hefner denied the charges against him and was released Monday on a $20,000 bond.

Claire Sinclair and Marston Hefner have been a couple, off and on, since August of 2010. Claire Sinclair described their relationship as “very tumultuous” but reveals that they are also best friends and extremely close. Hugh Hefner said that if the two still care for each other, they “will work it out.” Marston Hefner is a college student, and Claire Sinclair’s reign as Playboy’s Playmate of the Year will end in May.

It was just recently reported that Claire Sinclair, 2011 Playboy Playmate of the Year, filed a restraining order against her boyfriend, Marston Hefner, who is also the son of Playboy Enterprises founder and Chief Creative Officer Hugh Hefner. Reports say that the two got into a violent altercation which led to Marston Hefner beating up Playmate Claire Sinclair.

And now, Claire Sinclair says she will give Marston Hefner a chance to come clean and admit what he had done to her.

The 20-year-old Claire Sinclair exclusively told E! News that she is “not going to press charges” against Hugh Hefner’s son, Marston Hefner, who was arrested by the authorities last night at their Los Angeles area home for allegedly assaulting Clair Sinclair during a heated argument.

After Clair Sinclair was seen arriving at the Pasadena Police Department to obtain an emergency protective order, she gave a few stipulations as to the assault Marston Hefner did to her.

The 2011 Playboy Playmate Claire Sinclair said, “All I want is for Marston to give a public apology and I want him to get psychiatric help. I want him to admit that he did hit me more than once. If he can do all of that and get help, I will never press charges. That’s all that I want at this point. Playboy let me know this afternoon that he will be doing this, so I just hope they stick to their word.”

Meanwhile, an emergency protective order is only good for three to five days, giving the petitioner, Claire Sinclair, time to file a request for a temporary restraining order with a judge – if that comes to pass, in the case of Marston Hefner and Claire Sinclair.

Marston Hefner is the older of two sons that his famous dad, Hugh Hefner, had with ex-wife and 1989 Playmate of the Year, Kimberley Conrad. Marston Hefner was released from custody after being booked on one count of battery on a spouse (which can include a domestic partner) and posting $20,000 bail.

Hugh Hefner expressed confidence to ‘People’ that things will work out for the best between his son Marston Hefner and Claire Sinclair, whatever that may be.

“If they care about each other, they’ll patch it up,” Hugh Hefner concluded.

The 2011 Playboy Playmate of the Year Claire Sinclair reportedly filed a restraining order against Hugh Hefner’s son, Marston Hefner, who also happens to be his boyfriend. Claire Sinclair claims that she and Marston Hefner had a heated argument which later led to Marston Hefner beating up Claire Sinclair.

Marston Hefner was arrested around 11:15 in the evening on Sunday night for misdemeanor domestic violence after police responded to a 911 call from the family of Claire Sinclair. When they arrived at Marston Hefner’s place, the authorities observed several injuries on Claire Sinclair’s body.

According to the reports, Marston Hefner punched and kicked Claire Sinclair, which left bruises and red marks on the Playboy Playmate. The police showed up at the place after Claire Sinclair called for help from her family members, who then called 911.

Claire Sinclair was brought to the Pasadena Police Department, where police officers interviewed her about the beating incident with Marston Hefner. After that, the police granted a three-day restraining order against Marston Hefner to give Claire Sinclair enough time to gather all her things and move out of Marston Hefner’s place.

According to an interview by TMZ, Claire Sinclair plans to move out of Marston Hefner’s place as soon as possible, but if she needs more time, she will have to go to court to extend the protective order against Marston Hefner.

Claire Sinclair additionally said she called Hugh Hefner, Marston’s father, after their violent altercation. Hugh Hefner expressed his sympathy, and claims he was very disappointed by the situation.

Marston Hefner, 22, has been dating Claire Sinclair on and off since August 2010. The couple admitted they had gotten into an argument, but didn’t cop to hitting her. Marston Hefner has since been released on $20,000 bail.
