Clifton Powell, the actor who played the role of Pinky in two of the “Friday” movies claims that he has been falsely accused of raping a woman in Louisiana last year — despite accusations in a new lawsuit.

According to reports, 56-year-old Clifton Powell — who might also be remembered with his appearance in “Menace II Society, “Ray” and “Rush Hour” — has just been sued by a woman using the pseudonym Kiyante Myers, claiming that the actor and comedian raped her in a hotel room back in August of last year.

The lawsuit stated that Kiyante Myers claims she initially consented to have sex with Clifton Powell, but when things suddenly turned rough, she asked him to stop — but he refused. Instead, Kiyante claims that the actor placed his hands over her face and raped her.

Reports have stated Kiyante Myers went to the police about the incident last year, and an investigation was conducted on the case. However, the authorities did not have sufficient evidence to prove that Clifton Powell committed a crime, so they decided to close the case against the actor.

Now, Kiyante Myers has taken her claims to a federal court in Louisiana, where she is seeking damages in excess of $75,000.

A rep for the actor said, “Mr. Powell absolutely denies these false accusations and plans on pursuing all legal remedies available to him against his accuser.”

Some of the movies where Powell also appeared include “Just Another Day,” “Street Kings 2,” “Lockdown,” “Golden Empire,” and “Love for Sale.”
