Danica McKellar files for divorce from husband, Mike Verta

Former “Wonder Years” star Danica McKellar is ending has filed for divorce from her husband, Mike Verta.
According to reports, 37-year-old McKellar is finally ending her 3-year-marriage with husband, composer Mike Verta. The actress filed the docs in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. The couple has a prenuptial agreement.
Danica McKellar and Mike Verta tied the knot back in March 22, 2009 in San Diego, California. The couple’s first dance was to a song Mike wrote. They have a one-year-old son, Draco, and Danica wants a joint physical and legal custody of their child.
Following their La Jolla, California nuptials, the sister of Danica McKellar told People that the actress has “married the love of her life.”
Danica played the character of Winnie Cooper on the famous ‘90s TV show, “Wonder Years.” The couple’s wedding song was “Forever in Love with You,” which was written by Mike Verta for that special occasion.
