Colorado shooting victim to Dave Mustaine: “Don’t blame Obama”
Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine is an idiot for saying that U.S President Barack Obama is to blame for the Aurora, Colorado shooting, because he is not responsible for it — this according Carli Richards, one of the theater massacre victims who was shot that eventful night.
Media outlet TMZ was able to talk to a woman named Carli Richards, who suffered from several gunshot wounds when James Holmes opened fire during the screening of “The Dark Knight Rises” in Colorado last month.
After Carli Richards watched the footage of 50-year-old Dave Mustaine during his concert in Singapore, blaming Barack Obama for “staging” the Aurora, Colorado shooting to push through an anti-gun ban, Richards got mad and is now lashing back at the rock star. She said, “Some people think the President is a good scapegoat but he did not shoot me.”
The theater shooting victim added, “It’s obviously kind of absurd and people who make up conspiracies just want attention.”
“Everybody is emotional at this time and needs to blame somebody I guess. I don’t think they realize the consequences of not being responsible for your own actions and James Holmes needs to be held accountable for his, to whatever way the justice system deems fit,” Carli Richards concluded.
Previous reports have stated that Dave Mustaine slammed Barack Obama in between their songs during a recent concert in Singapore. Mustaine told the audience, “Back in my country, my president … he’s trying to pass a gun ban, so he’s staging all of these murders, like the ‘Fast And Furious’ thing down at the border … Aurora, Colorado, all the people that were killed there … and now the beautiful people at the Sikh temple.”
On a video clip taken by a Megadeth fan, the crowd at the Megadeth concert can be heard going quiet as Dave Mustaine continued his speech:
“I don’t know where I’m gonna live if America keeps going the way it’s going because it looks like it’s turning into Nazi America,” Dave Mustaine concluded.
