Deion Sanders puts Dallas condo for sale amid divorce proceedings
August 6th, 2012 by faye
Former NFL cornerback and MLB outfielder Deion Sanders wants to liquidate his 5,000 sq. ft. Dallas condo by putting the extravagant property up for sale, way less than its market value — right in the middle of his bitter divorce proceedings with Pilar Sanders.
Reports stated that Deion Sanders listed his Dallas condo back in March, right after his divorce from estranged wife Pilar Sanders went out of hand, when Pilar claimed that the NFL analyst’s aunt had assaulted her in her own house. The condo is located in the fancy celebrity-filled Azure building.
Deion Sanders listed the Dallas condo for $4.8 million, however, according to a realtor for Azure, the luxurious property is valued at roughly $6.5 million. In fact, the unit next to Deion’s is currently listed for exactly that amount. Not only is the former NFl star selling his Dallas condo for a lower price, he is also reportedly doing some last minute renovations, such as re-plastering the pool, to speed up the sale of the property.
Reports said that this week, a judge has ordered Deion Sanders to pay an amount of $10,000 per month in child support and pay another $275,000 for the attorney fees of estranged wife, Pilar.

According to TMZ, this is the latest round of the Sanders’ vicious legal combat.
The embattled NFL legend did eke out some small victories in the courtroom. He doesn’t need to pay spousal support, for one thing. And Pilar Sanders was also told by the court to return six containers worth of Deion’s property by July 1.
Just last week, the court granted Deion Sanders a restraining order against his ex-wife. Pilar was ordered to maintain a minimum distance of 500 yards from Deion’s Dallas mansion- which incidentally gave Deion temporary custody of their three minor children, a custody that may end soon with this latest court order.
