DMX fires back at Fredro Starr diss

September 27th, 2012 by faye

Rapper and actor DMX is lashing back at Onyx rapper Fredro Starr, saying that he is not scared of his death threats, claiming Starr is “a midget” who “can’t even reach my knee.”

According to reports, 41-year-old DMX had an interview with media outlet TMZ, saying: “I am not worried about him … All he is is a sitcom Moesha gangsta. He should just stick to being a reality gangsta cause that’s about all he’s good for.”

Fredro Starr appeared on the show “Moesha” back in the 1990s.

Rapper DMX is responding to the video Starr posted on YouTube, in which the rapper freestyles, “This n***a X talking sh*t right now, If he ever try it again/He be in front of the firing pen/If his crew front, there be a lot of dying men/At the funeral, family and crying friends.”

Fredro Starr laid down the death threat rap after DMX went on a radio show last week and claimed that Starr once got slammed by one of DMX’s baby mamas.

But DMX is blowing off the drama, claiming Starr “is just trying to use me to get back in the music scene.”

Rapper DMX is currently sporting a few stitches on his head following his brutal ATV crash last weekend — but DMX said that he is planning to “thug it out and get well quick.”

Media outlet TMZ had the chance to speak with 41-year-old DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, after he was released from the South Carolina hospital on Sunday night — just a day after he had his four-wheeler accident.

Rapper DMX said that he is still in a lot of pain, “My head still hurts bad from my concussion and I am

having really bad headaches.”

As it was previously reported, DMX was “riding outside his home in South Carolina when he crashed while riding down a hill. He says he flipped over and, lucky for him, landed right on his a**.”

DMX suffered from multiple lacerations because of the four-wheeler accident, this required him to have three stitches to close a gash on the top of his head.

Despite the accident, the rapper told TMZ, “It’s all good. I am going to thug it out and get well quick.”

DMX was well enough to post the accident on his Twitter account and update his fans on his four-wheeler accident. At first, DMX just posted a photo of himself in a hospital bed, and when his fans started getting concerned, he tweeted, “FLIPPED MY [expletive] FOUR WHEELER OVER (sic).”

This is not the first time DMX was hospitalized. Earlier this year, DMX was also brought to the hospital for an unrelated bout of food poisoning.

Rapper and actor DMX has been hospitalized after he lost control of his four-wheeler and subsequently crashed it.

According to reports, on July 14, “Ryde or Die” rapper DMX crashed his four-wheeler, which caused him to have a concussion.

“He was riding outside his home in South Carolina when he crashed while riding down a hill. He says he flipped over and, lucky for him, landed right on his ass,” media outlet TMZ reports. DMX was well enough to take to Twitter and update his fans on his four-wheeler accident. At first, DMX just posted a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed, and when his fans got really concerned, he tweeted, “FLIPPED MY [expletive] FOUR WHEELER OVER (sic).”

DMX is still hospitalized as of Sunday, due to his four-wheeler accident and may stay in the hospital for a few more days to allow the doctors to keep an eye on him. A concussion is quite serious even though it is  ”no big deal” in the scheme of things. As such, it won’t be surprising to hear that the rapper will not be released until later this week.

This is not the first time the rapper was brought to the hospital. Earlier this year, DMX was also hospitalized for an unrelated bout of food poisoning.

The Lord apparently did give DMX a sign, as the rapper no longer faced a $630K lawsuit filed by a booking agency.

According to TMZ, booking agency Heavy Rotation (HR) would no longer pursue its March lawsuit against against the ‘Lord Give Me A Sign’ rapper (real name Earl Simmons.)

TMZ earlier broke the story about how HR claimed it made an exclusive year-long deal with DMX in 2011 to book a string of comeback concerts. However, the agency then accused DMX of being extremely difficult to deal with during their working relationship.

According to the lawsuit, DMX finally dropped the entire tour. Heavy Rotation allegedly lost nearly $750,000 when the deal went sour. So it filed a lawsuit this March against the rapper and asked for $630,000 in damages and compensation.

Now TMZ reported that the booking agency appeared to have undergone a change of heart. HR voluntarily dismissed its lawsuit against DMX.

Heavy Rotation did not return calls made by TMZ regarding its dismissed case.

According to manager Jason Fowler, DMX and his team were very pleased to hear the news. DMX  had earlier released his ‘The Weigh In’ mix tape as a prelude to a planned new album, ‘Undisputed.’ The latter, however, had been repeatedly delayed for numerous reasons.

Rapper DMX is currently facing a lawsuit from a booking agency named Heavy Rotation who claims that he failed to make good on contractual obligations for an international comeback tour. The lawsuit is asking DMX to give back a total amount of $630,000.

According to the reports, concert promoter Heavy Rotation filed the lawsuit in New York, claiming it struck an exclusive year-long deal with DMX back in 2011 to book the rapper’s concerts anywhere around the world. The lawsuit states, however, that the 41-year-old DMX was plagued with numerous legal problems, including a traffic violation in August, and two nasty child support disputes. All of this run-ins with the law eventually led to a lien on the rapper’s passport, preventing him from performing overseas.

The lawsuit also states that Heavy Rotation tried to help DMX settle all of his legal issues by spending nearly a hundred thousand dollars to cover bail, child support, and some other legal bills. Such effort for DMX was in the hopes of clearing his way for the comeback tour, a task which included lifting the lien on the rapper’s passport.

However, Heavy Rotation claims that DMX continued to cause problems, even hiring outside management which tried to book DMX on shows only within the United States. This clearly violated the agreement within the booking agency and DMX. Additionally, DMX was not able to iron out the issues on his passport, therefore cancelling his concerts outside the U.S.

But the manager of DMX has a different story to tell. The rapper’s manager claims that DMX did reach out to other companies, but only after he cut all ties with Heavy Rotation when they put him at risk with some poor business practices.

Still, Heavy Rotation claims it lost $749,285 on the deal gone bad – and now they want their money back.

Rapper and actor DMX is not very fond of recording artist Drake. DMX said that he “dislikes everything about Drake” in an appearance at radio station in New York.

The 41-year-old DMX dropped by the Power 105.1 in New York where he was asked what he thinks about the Canadian crossover Drake. The rapper said, “I don’t like anything about Drake. I don’t like his voice. I don’t like what he talks about. I don’t like his face. I don’t like the way he walks. I don’t like his haircut, just nothing.”

DMX, real name Earl Simmons, did not elaborate further as to the reason behind disliking the 25-year-old Drake. But the ‘Romeo Must Die’ actor says he is cool with Drake’s mentor, Lil’ Wayne, whose Young Money label signed Drake in 2009.

Aside from Drake, DMX also bashed hip-hop artist Rick Ross, saying he wasn’t impressed, and poked fun at the Maybach Music boss’s lyrical content. DMX also claims he was offered a meeting with the label but turned it down because he “just couldn’t see it.”

“He just talks about eatin’ too much. How much can one n***a eat?!” DMX joked at Ross. “Maybach this, Austin Martin that. OK, we get it!”

DMX played a concert at SOBs in New York last night, and “Undisputed” is set to hit music stores on March 27.

A woman with whom rapper DMX has a child certainly wants her baby’s daddy to give more than just moral support. DMX, real name Earl Simmons, is currently embroiled in a child support battle. The 41-year-old DMX is accused of owing more than $1 million in back child support – however, DMX is not convinced that he is the father of the child.

Patricia Trejo, a woman from California, claims that she and DMX have had a daughter together. Trejo was in Los Angeles Superior Court, arguing against a motion DMX filed in their ongoing paternity case — in which the rapper asked the court for permission to perform in Europe. However, Patricia Trejo put her foot down in court and asserts that DMX owes her $1 million in child support for their 10-year-old daughter, a claim which could lead to DMX being prevented from travelling abroad.  According to TMZ reports, the court claim is for more than £625,000 in back child support payments. DMX apparently disagreed and questioned Trejo’s claim, which led to the rapper demanding a DNA test be conducted in order to confirm whether or not DMX is the girl’s father.

DMX, has performed under a series of names including Dog Man X, Divine Master of the Unknown, and Dark Man X. Aside from his child support battle, the rapper has been arrested on several occasions for drug-related charges, reckless driving, violating probation, and traffic violations. DMX was married to Tashera Simmons for 11 years, but the two divorced in 2010. The rapper has children with Tashera, as well as several children who are the result of extra-marital affairs. It has been confirmed that the rapper has fathered at least 10 children.
