Donald Trump to Rosie O’Donnell: “You’re a bully!”
Business magnate Donald Trump has slammed TV host Rosie O’Donnell once again and officially branded her a “bully” on a morning radio show. The two TV personalities have been gritting their teeth at each other for a long time now and have engaged in numerous public word wars.
According to reports Donald Trump said that he knew long before that “The Rosie Show” would fail. ”I predicted correctly that Rosie O’Donnell would never make it,” Donald Trump stated on Toronto’s KiSS morning radio show. “I did say that and she never made it, so that was sort of good and I was very proud of that, frankly.”
“Rosie is a bully,” Donald Trump told the Roz Weston & Mocha. “Bullies are people that you have to meet head on and I met her head on.” The business mogul added, “A lot of people didn’t, but I didn’t let her get away with the act.”
The show of Rosie O’Donnell for the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) did not last long, though many are unsure what went wrong. One anonymous source claims, “O’Donnell uncontrollably yelled at a publicist backstage because she didn’t like the parameters agreed upon for an interview.”
Reports say there has been a conflict between Rosie O’Donnell and Oprah’s director Joe Terry. O’Donnell allegedly humiliated him in front of an audience for using the wrong camera angle. The TV host then fired Winfrey’s stage manager for not paying her close enough attention, among other things. Oprah Winfrey never addressed the rumors, but instead thanked Rosie O’Donnell for joining her on the journey.
The long-standing dispute between Donald Trump and Rosie O’Donnell has been going on for years, as they sparred and traded jabs at each other.
“Well look, I have nothing with Rosie O’Donnell, Rosie’s fun,” Donald Trump told Access Hollywood in March. “Her show failed, but I told people that it was going to fail long before it went on. But Rosie’s fine,” he added. “I wish her well. May she rest in peace.”
