Former “Baywatch” star Donna D’Errico has just come back from her trip to Turkey on Tuesday night in search of the biblical vessel, Noah’s Ark.
According to reports, Donna D’Errico said that she knows a lot of people are making fun of her quest to find the mythical boat, but that she does not care — claiming she is even willing to risk her life to hunt for Noah’s Ark.
Meanwhile, she expressed how happy she is to be back home.
“I’m just glad to be home,” the actress said, adding, “I found a lot of information.”
Previous reports have stated that Donna D’Errico suffered from numerous injuries to her face and body after a major fall on Mt. Ararat, where the ark is rumored to be hidden.
When D’Errico was asked if she was in fear for her life, she responded, “Yeah … I was.”
She went on, explaining, “I’ve just always wanted to climb Mt. Ararat and search for Noah’s Ark … and I know everybody thinks it’s funny and it’s a big joke and people don’t believe in it … but I do … and I’ve wanted to do it ever since I was a kid.”
Donna D’Errico said she wasn’t just searching for Noah’s Ark, she was also hoping to find Donald Mackenzie — a fellow Ark hunter who went missing during his trip to Mt. Ararat a few years ago.
While the actress did not find Mackenzie, Donna claims she is not willing to give up her search and vows to plan her return trip to Mt. Ararat in Turkey as soon as possible.
Donna D’Errico injured after major fall in search of Noah’s Ark

Actress and model Donna D’Errico — who is famously known for starring in the hit TV series “Baywatch,” has been left bloody, battered and bruised following her dangerous fall while hiking in Turkey, in search of Noah’s Ark.
According to reports, 44-year-old Donna D’Errico was fulfilling her lifelong dream of hunting the Biblical vessel — Noah’s Ark — on Mount Ararat in Turkey, when she unfortunately suffered from a “major fall,” which left her sporting cuts and bruises all over her face, arms and legs. But despite the injuries she sustained, the “Baywatch” star said that it will not hinder her from completing the final two days of her trip.
The reason Donna is willing to pursue her mission is because a trip like this takes extensive planning, research and permit approvals. Apparently, the actress doesn’t want all of her hard work to go to waste by leaving early.
Her injuries is not the first problem Donna D’Errico encountered. D’Errico — a onetime Playboy Playmate Of The Month — was given a warning that she was in “serious danger” from Kurdistani terrorist group the PKK at one point. Her hunt for Noah’s Ark has also forced the actress to leave her two children in the United States to head to “an extremely dangerous” part of Mount Ararat in Turkey.
During an interview last year, Donna D’Errico explained that she had always held a dream of discovering the famous Biblical vessel mentioned in the Bible.
“This has been a dream of mine since I was 9 or 10,’ D’Errico told AOL News. ‘I went to Catholic school and was fascinated by Noah’s ark. I would do class projects based on the ark.”
And after years of studying about the mythical boat, she had somehow pinpointed the likely locations of Noah’s Ark.
“I’ve been studying this for years and know where the sightings have been,” Donna D’Errico said, adding “According to my research, the ark lays broken into at least two, but most likely three, pieces. I believe that one of those pieces is in the uppermost Ahora Gorge area, an extremely dangerous area to climb and explore.”
Donna D’Errico has raised funds for her Turkey trip on her personal website. She decided to finally make the trip following a close call with death when she fell seriously ill with an MRSA infection.
“The doctors told me afterwards that I was very close to death when I came in,” the actress explained. And she decided to do something for herself.”
D’Errico added, “I have spent a lot of my life living for a lot of other people, whether it be because of my job or my family. My kids are almost grown up and I have fulfilled one dream of coming to Hollywood to become an actress. Now it’s time to fulfill another.”
The children of single mother Donna D’Errico had expressed their worries about her trip — with her son Rhyan, 18, already having lost a parent when his father died.
“He knows the climb can be dangerous – especially when you’re standing on a glacier,” Donna said.
And her trip has not been without incident, with the actress asking her fans to pray for her safety.
Donna D’Errico wrote in her blog, “Early this morning I was awakened by one of our Kurdish guides saying that we had to leave the mountain immediately because there was trouble with the PKK and the Turkish Military on the mountain and that we were in serious danger.”
