Rock guitarist Dweezil Zappa is embroiled in a legal battle with his divorce lawyer, James Eliaser, who has filed a lawsuit against him for allegedly not paying his bill.

According to the lawsuit, James Eliaser, lawyer of the 42-year-old Zappa, claims that the musician owes him $37, 498.75. The retainer agreement of Dweezil Zappa states that he agreed to pay James Eliaser $625 an hour. Reports say that Dweezil paid a $15,000 retainer at the beginning of the process for his divorce with ex-wife Lauren Knudsen. However, it all adds up quickly.

Additionally, the retainer also says that Dweezil Zappa must pay $4 for the first page of any fax and $1 for additional pages.

Dweezil’s wife, Lauren Knudsen, filed for divorce in 2010. Dweezil Zappa is the son of famous rock legend Frank Zappa.
