OneRepublic drummer Edward Ray Fisher will not be charged with domestic violence after allegedly attacking his former girlfriend and destroying her cabinets during a late night rampage back in May.
According to reports, 38-year-old Fisher was arrested by the authorities on May 15 after his ex-girlfriend said he went inside her home and pushed her through her cabinets. The drummer had a bloody gash in the center of his forehead when the police arrested him.
Edward Ray Fisher initially faced charges for assault, destruction of private property and disturbing peace. However, the Denver City Attorney said that there isn’t sufficient evidence to back up the claims that Fisher committed a crime. As such, the City Attorney is convincing the judge to dismiss the case, which the judge will do as soon as he or she gets the paperwork.
Hours after the initial domestic violence incident, the alleged victim insisted that her relationship with Fisher was already dead.
