It wasn’t another woman that got in between the romance of NFL star Mark Sanchez and “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria — it was 52 other men from New York Jets, TMZ reports.

According to TMZ sources connected to the former couple, the two decided to call it quits and parted ways because Mark Sanchez was impossible for Eva Longoria to be around because the football star was in such a bad mood over the horrible season of New York Jets.

As one source puts it, “It’s hard to maintain a relationship when one person is upset all the time.”

The New York Jets are said to be 3-4 coming off another heartbreaking loss to Tom Brady’s New England Patriots.

However, despite their breakup, the two are serious about remaining good friends and have nothing but respect for one another.

Previous reports have stated that the rep of Sanchez broke the news to Us Weekly, saying: “Mark adores and respects Eva. It really was about scheduling more than anything else. They will remain close friends.”

Former “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria has finally settled a car crash lawsuit filed by a man whose vehicle she struck back in 2010.

According to reports, 37-year-old Eva Longoria settled the case filed by Roman Gasparyan outside of the courtroom. However, the terms of their settlement are still unclear at this time.

Roman Gasparyan filed a lawsuit against Longoria almost two years ago, claiming that the actress lost control of her BMW vehicle and accidentally crashed into his car on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, all while the “Desperate Housewives” star was sporting “red and bloodshot” eyes.

Gasparyan added that he was in the median, waiting to make a left turn when suddenly, Eva Longoria, who was driving in the opposite direction “made a sudden lane change into the median lane” — resulting in a collision with his car.

The lawsuit also stated that both Eva Longoria and Roman Gasparyan were driving BMW X5s — his a 2002, and the actress’ a 2010. Aside from the damage to the SUV, Gasparyan claimed he suffered mental and physical suffering, which led him to sue for unspecified damages.

Although Longoria’s husband at the time, Tony Parker, was not involved in the car accident, the NBA star is the registered owner of the BMW X5.

Speaking through her representative, Eva Longoria said: “There is absolutely no truth to this claim, and any indications to the contrary are completely false and untrue.”

The settlement between Gasparyan and Longoria was announced in Los Angeles Superior Court on August 3, just 12 days before the case was supposed to go to trial.

Actress Eva Longoria has reportedly slammed rumors going around that there will be a “Desperate Housewives” movie, saying that the makers of the show have ran out of story ideas.

According to reports, Eva Longoria, best known for playing the character of Gabrielle Solis in “Desperate Housewives” said: We won’t do a movie. Marc Cherry, our creator, has said that it’s because we have done over 200 episodes.”

“The difference with ‘Sex And The City’ is that they only did 13 episodes a year and they were only on for six years, so they didn’t ever really fully explore those characters, so you are able to do a movie,” 37-year-old Eva Longoria added.

The final episode of “Desperate Housewives” will air on May 30.
