“Desperate Housewives” star Felicity Huffman and actor husband Bill Macy have been named in a lawsuit by a woman who reportedly fell down the staircase of the couple’s home in Hollywood Hills.

According to reports, a woman named Lourdes Orozco has filed a lawsuit against Hollywood celebrities’ Felicity Huffman and Bill Macy, claiming that she slipped and fell down hard on the “dirty” and “poorly maintained” staircase that lacked “regulated handrails” of the couple’s house back in April 2011.

The lawsuit of Orozco further claims that Huffman and Macy were negligent, because they “knew or should have known” the stairway conditions “could easily cause anyone to slip and fall, as in [Orozco's] case, resulting in serious personal injury.”

The lawsuit also accused Felicity Huffman and Bill Macy of “willful failure” to warn Lourdes Orozco about the allegedly dangerous staircase.

From the legal documents, it is unclear what Orozco’s relationship is to Bill and Felicity, but she’s suing them for damages in excess of $25,000, which includes medical expenses and lost wages.

The Hollywood power couple, who have two young daughters, recently received a rare double star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Felicity Huffman and Bill Macy also have two Oscar nominations, two Emmy wins, and seven Globe nominations between them.

Huffman is best known for her role as executive producer Dana Whitaker on the ABC television show “Sports Night” which aired from 1998 to 2000. The show made her win a Golden Globe Award nomination. Felicity Huffman also starred as hectic supermom Lynette Scavo on the ABC show “Desperate Housewives” which ran from 2004 to 2012, earning her an Emmy Award.

In 2005, her critically acclaimed role as a transgender woman in the independent film “Transamerica” earned her a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination. Felicity Huffman has also starred in films such as “Georgia Rule,” “Magnolia,” “Path to War,” “Phoebe in Wonderland,” “Reversal of Fortune” and “The Spanish Prisoner.”

Meanwhile, Bill Macy Macy was an original cast member of the long-running theatrical revue entitled “Oh! Calcutta!” Since “Maude” was canceled in 1978, Macy has made more than 70 appearances on film and television, including a memorable role as the co-inventor of the “Opti-grab” in the 1979 Steve Martin comedy “The Jerk,” and as the head television writer in Richard Benjamin’s 1982 hit “My Favorite Year.”

Bill Macy occasionally appeared on “Seinfeld” as one of the residents of “Del Boca Vista” — a Florida retirement community in which Jerry Seinfeld’s parents lived, as well as on the short-lived Kelsey Grammer/Patricia Heaton situation comedy “Back to You.” The actor had a memorable guest appearance as an aging gambler in the television show “Las Vegas.” In 2006, he also made a cameo appearance on “My Name is Earl” during the 2nd season episode, “Van Hickey,” as an elderly patient in a nursing home who claims he “Once tongue-kissed a Jamaican Woman”.
