Gretchen Rossi was amused when Tamra Barney and the rest of the ‘Real Housewives of Orange Country’ cast shriek when a bird apparently attacked host  Andy Cohen during the show’s reunion.

People.com reported that the taping -and the so-called “attack”- earlier took place earlier this month. Cohen was quizzing the Bravo reality star Tamra Barney about her fiance, Eddie Judge, and the boyfriend of co-star Vicki Gunvalson, Brooks Ayers. That was when the bird briefly perched atop of his graying head.

The Housewives immediately shrieked at the intruder. Some of the ladies leaped out of their chairs. The even more startled Andy Cohen bolted out of his seat.

“It’s just a bird, you guys!” scolded the laughing Gretchen Rossi.

The bird in question zipped around the set for a while. Then it settled on a fruit basket to calmly regard the panicking cast.

According to People.com, the shaken Andy Cohen eventually regained control of himself and the event. That was when the bird went for him again. (Maybe it wanted to use his hair as a nest.)

After the incident, Heather Dubrow deadpanned that ”This gives a whole new meaning to the word ‘Tweet’.”

Speaking of tweets, Andy Cohen posted a tweet about the attack the day after. “That’s a wrap on Epic #RHOC,” Cohen posted. “I got attacked.”

The first part of the reunion of Gretchen Rossi, Tamra Barney, and the rest of the ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ cast is scheduled for July 10.

“The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Gretchen Rossi lashed out at co-star Tamra Barney – telling friends that Tamra’s engagement is nothing but a money-grubbing, big fat lie. Additionally, Rossi claims that the producers of the show were the ones who manufactured the fake engagement because she claims they are desperate for a dramatic finale.

According to sources close to Gretchen Rossi, the producers originally approached Gretchen’s boyfriend, Slade, about proposing to her – hoping he would pop the question in time for “The Real Housewives of Orange County” big finale this year. Sources also added that producers even attempted to bribe Slade with an exotic proposal destination, as well as a free ring for Gretchen Rossi.

However, Slade turned the offer down, convinced the public already hated him enough without a fake proposal, so producers turned to Tamra Barney and her boyfriend Eddie Judge out of spite.

Sources told TMZ that Tamra Barney and Eddie instantly agreed to the proposal package – and her whole proposal was then conveniently filmed for the show at the same exotic location that was allegedly offered to Slade.
