Henry Hopper — son of actor and filmmaker Dennis Hopper — has been accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl after using alcohol and drugs to lure her.
According to reports, 21-year-old Henry Hopper has been sued by the mother of an unidentified 16-year-old girl who claims her daughter met Henry through a mutual friend in February of 2011.
The legal docs stated that the girl — identified in the lawsuit only as Jane Doe — claims the two began to communicate and exchange messages via the social media site Facebook. In the months that followed, Henry Hopper allegedly invited Jane Doe to his home in Venice, California on several occasions — with the promise of giving her alcohol and drugs.
The lawsuit also added that Jane Doe claims Henry would wait until she was already inebriated, then “engage in sexually offensive conduct with her” which includes forced oral copulation, sexual intercourse and sodomy.
However, reports said it is unclear if the alleged rape victim ever reported the allegations to police.
In the lawsuit, the lawyer of the alleged victim claims that the actor “preyed upon a young impressionable child, suggesting that he cared for her, luring her into his home with promises of alcohol and illegal drugs, and then repeatedly taking advantage of her youth and vulnerability.”
The mother of the alleged rape victim claims that her daughter suffered significant injuries to her emotional health, strength and activity, and was even required to employ several mental health care professionals for treatment. Now, she’s suing the actor for unspecified damages.
So far, attempts to reach Henry Hopper were unsuccessful.
