“Dallas” actor Jack Scalia arrested for trying to bring gun on plane
Former “Dallas” star Jack Scalia has been arrested at LAX airport on Thursday afternoon after trying to bring a gun onto a plane.
According to reports, 61-year-old Jack Scalia — who played the role of Nicholas Pearce on the 1980s hit show — was apprehended by airport authorities in Los Angeles after he was found to be carrying a Glock 9mm gun.
Official sources said that the gun, which was unloaded, was discovered after his bag was put through a screener.
Sgt. Belinda Nettles of the LAX Police said in a statement, “Today [Thursday, October 25] at approximately 1:00 p.m, Los Angeles Airport Police officers responded to Terminal 7 for a report of a weapon at the transportation security administration screening station.”
Nettles went on to note, “’Our investigation revealed suspect, 61-year-old Jack Tomaso Scalia of Los Angeles had an unloaded weapon in his carry on bag.”
Further details on the incident have yet to be released.
This is far from the first time Jack Scalia has been hit by controversy.
