Jake Owen: Arrested on Saturday, married this Monday

Talk about how time flies. Jake Owen got arrested on Saturday, complained -and then apologized- on Sunday, and got married at the crack of dawn this Monday.
According to Gossip Cop, the country singer exchanged vows with model Lacey Buchanan in Vero Beach, Florida- which happened to be the same town where police arrested Owen two days back.
Reportedly, Jake Owen partied a bit too hard at a Vero Beach restaurant during Cinco de Mayo. The restaurant called the sheriffs, and a deputy put cuffs on Owen.
The singer was not formally arrested. But he still protested about it on Twitter, where he said the cops overreacted and put up a photo of himself beside the sheriff’s cruiser.
However, Jake Owen soon pulled down his angry tweets and became contrite. “Y’all I apologize,” he tweeted. “The Sheriff was doing their job. I love hometown. I had too good of a time on Cinco de Mayo.”
Owen continued by saying, “I want to publicly apologize again for bringing to light a situation that I overreacted to. I embarrassed myself and my family and most importantly the great people of my hometown.” He then praised the cops who arrested him: “The Sheriffs were doing their jobs and I made an immature decision to announce it to the world.”
Two days after his Cinco de Mayo arrest, Jake Owen and Lacey Buchanan were wed in a small, private ceremony.
“A best friend for life,” Owen posted on Twitter. “I now have a wifey
my face hurts from smiling. What a wonderful way to start the rest of my life.”
Lacey Buchanan previously appeared in the country singer’s ‘Barefoot Blue Jean Night’ video. Jake Owen proposed to her on stage during a concert last month.
