Disgraced “American Idol” former contestant Jermaine Jones — who got kicked out from last season for lying to producers about his criminal history — has finally received some closure after reuniting with his fellow finalists for the first time since he left the reality show.

According to reports, Jermaine Jones told media outlet TMZ that he bought tickets to the American Idol LIVE tour on Tuesday at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. His friend, fellow AI contestant Joshua Ledet — who finished third last season — gave him some backstage passes.

While Jones was at the show, he said that he caught up with all his old friends from Season 11, including Jessica Sanchez, Phillip Phillips, Erika Van Pelt, Colton Dixon, Skylar laine and DeAndre Brackensick.

Jermaine Jones added that it was quite an emotional reunion, but everyone was very supportive “showing a lot of love,” asking how he had been doing since his disqualification from “American Idol” last March.

As to whether he regretted lying to the producers of AI about his criminal past, Jermaine Jones said, “I think I told them at the time what I needed to for my information to qualify, but overall I just wish of course that I did things differently.”

However, he is not holding a grudge at the show, adding, “American Idol helped me in my career and gave me good exposure … I’m happy and grateful for the experience.”

It’s over for “American Idol” contender Jermaine Jones after he was booted off the reality TV show due to hiding his criminal history – a history of violence, deception, and bullying.

According to previous reports, the producers of the show investigated further about the background of Jermaine Jones, after claims emerged that he and his father are estranged. As a result, they found out about the criminal history of the “American Idol” contestant, and because of this, the New Jersey native will be booted off the show for not disclosing his criminal record in the past.

TMZ got hold of the details from Jermaine Jones’ criminal history of multiple run-ins with the law. One incident occurred on March 5, 2011, when Jones was involved in a brawl at a Howard Johnson Hotel in Jersey. The cops responded to the incident, but the “American Idol” contender gave them a fake name – Joel Jones. He was then charged with public nuisance and obstruction of justice. Jones was also arrested for having outstanding warrants.

The next incident listed in his criminal history went down November 27, 2011, when Jermaine was the passenger in a car that was pulled over in Gloucester Township, New Jersey. Jones was questioned by the police and once again, he gave them a false name. This time, he said he is Kareem Watkins.

Jermaine Jones was charged for hindering apprehension and giving false information to avoid self-discovery. He was also arrested for having outstanding warrants. So to sum it all up, Jermaine Jones had a total of four outstanding warrants in his criminal history – three warrants for driving on a suspended license and one for disorderly conduct with an open container.

But there’s more to his criminal history. “American Idol” sources claim Jermaine Jones was “very aggressive” behind the scenes –  once terrorizing a member of the staff by yelling at her because he didn’t like his wardrobe. Additionally, sources also claim that Jones had been questioned about his past by the “American Idol” risk management team before he was selected into the top 24, and he swore, among other things, that he had not been in a fight since high school.
