Comedian Jim Belushi was reportedly caught by the authorities carrying a marijuana cigarette in his pocket at an airport in Massachusetts.

According to sources, Belushi was at the Martha’s Vineyard airport when TSA agents caught him with a marijuana cigarette stuffed in his pocket. When he was approached by the agents, Jim Belushi defended his  possession of the the cigarette, claiming it was for “medicinal purposes,” even showing his California medical marijuana card. However, the TSA agent told the actor that a California card isn’t valid in Massachusetts.

Sources said that the police were notified of Jim Belushi’s possession of a marijuana cigarette. However, since the amount was scanty and that marijuana possession has been decriminalized in Massachusetts, the cops just confiscated the marijuana cigarette of Jim Belushi and let him off the hook with a warning.
