Jersey Shore actor Jonathan Manfre, a.k.a ‘The Unit,’ has pleaded “not guilty” of the drug possession charge that he has been issued earlier this month. Back in July, Jonathan Manfre was reportedly indicted for 3rd degree felony possession of a controlled substance which was later determined as horse tranquilizer drug, Ketamine, when he was caught in Seaside Heights last year.
Here is what Raymond Raya, the lawyer of Jonathan Manfre said about the drug possession charge:
“There were some issues regarding my client’s constitutional rights. We entered the not guilty plea NOT because that’s the normal thing to do…we actually entered the not guilty plea because we believe that based on those issues, John is not guilty. We expect a very favorable outcome.”
Will Jonathan Manfre be dismissed of the drug possession charge and get off on a technicality? Or will he serve jail time of three to five years? That is something you have to watch out for.
