Justin Bieber files harassment complaint against paparazzi
Pop star Justin Bieber has just filed a harassment complaint against one of the paparazzi who was involved in a high-speed chase on Friday down a Los Angeles freeway, which resulted in him getting a speed violation.
According to reports, the 18-year-old singer filed his statement with a police officer at a video shoot in Los Angeles, complaining that the paparazzi in question had been extremely aggressive, recklessly pursuing him down the freeway, endangering lives. The highway chase reportedly reached speeds that exceeded 100 mph, with some paparazzi even riding the shoulder just to keep up with Justin Bieber.
California Highway Police officers eventually halted Justin Bieber, citing him for speeding. Right after that, he filed the complaint against the paparazzi who was chasing him, giving the cops the license plate number of the said photographer. The authorities also took the statement of the photographer and are now investigating him for the alleged harassment.
Scooter Braun, the manager of Justin Bieber claims that the teen star was trying to elude the paparazzi when the incident occurred.
Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis Zine, who was an eyewitness and contacted the police, corroborates the allegations of the “Never Say Never” singer.
