Katherine Jackson: “Guardianship ruling based on lies”
Katherine Jackson has just challenged the court ruling that temporarily stripped her of guardianship over Michael Jackson’s children — claiming that she did not want TJ Jackson to take over the role despite court documents stating otherwise.
According to reports, during a taped segment for ABC’s “Nightline,” Katherine Jackson read her prepared comments from a notebook and said: “Their ruling in court today was about the guardianship, and I think it was based on a bunch of lies. But I have a good idea who’s doing that … who’s behind it.”
Katherine went on saying that she talked with TJ Jackson on Tuesday and “told him it wasn’t necessary for him to go down and sign up for guardianship, but I don’t know who instructed him to do that … ’cause he wanted me to come home before that happened.”
As for leaving Blanket, Paris and Prince alone in Los Angeles, Katherine Jackson claims that she left instructions about who will take care of them while she was away, though she did not specifically name anyone.
Katherine Jackson also added that during her absence, her assistant had been keeping in touch with the children of Michael Jackson and that she didn’t personally call “because I just gave up my phone. I didn’t want to have any phone calls.”
