Lady Gaga pukes on stage, does not miss a beat
October 9th, 2012 by faye
Pop superstar Lady Gaga threw up multiple times onstage while performing her hit song “Edge of Glory” during her concert in Barcelona, and despite throwing up, she did not miss a beat!
According to reports, 26-year-old Lady Gaga was in the middle of singing “Edge of Glory” in Barcelona when she suddenly bent over with her back to the stage and started throwing up while the backup vocals continued to play. She then pulls herself together immediately and starts dancing again, with a male dancer alongside her.
Seconds later, Lady Gaga bends over again and throws up once more, and then a third time, before stepping right back into her routine like nothing happened.
Somehow, the “Born This Way,” still managed to finish her act and after the Barcelona show, Lady Gaga took to Twitter to joke about the incident.
“Was praying nobody saw but actually it’s quite a good laugh if you need one!” she tweeted.
“Check out Lady Puke GA doing Swan ‘Vomit’ Lake. I still hit my routine mom!!
Thank goodness for the Dorchester…I need some tea ,I think I just cried a little watching that (sic)”
Following her post explaining the event in her Barcelona show, Lady Gaga retweeted a message from her fan joking about her shaky stomach.
“Lady Gaga was doing the monsterball puke introlude in real life,” read the Twitter post.
Gaga then explained her throwing up act further, saying: “Belligerent throw up during sax solo amidst epic power ballad about glory atop medieval castle? #metal [Sic]“
This follows fellow pop star Justin Bieber’s throwing up incident just last week. The teen pop idol faced similar on stage embarrassment in Arizona, when he threw up during his Glendale show.

Lady Gaga defends wearing fur
August 17th, 2012 by faye
Pop singer Lady Gaga is now firing back at her critics — specifically animal rights group PETA — claiming that they are “childish” and “abusive” and they need to respect her right to wear what she wants, including a fur coat.
According to reports, Lady Gaga has issued a lengthy statement about her choice to wear what is believed to be a real fur coat in public. The “Bad Romance” singer posted the statement on her social networking site called LittleMonsters.com as a response to the series of adverse reactions from her otherwise faithful fans.
“I want you to know that I care deeply about your feelings and views, and I will always support your philosophies about life,” Lady Gaga wrote. “I do not however support violent, abusive, and childish campaigns for ANY CAUSE. Particularly one I respect: Animal Rights.” There, she appeared to be addressing militant animal rights activists.
The famous singer went on, writing, “I am choosing not to comment on whether the furs I purchase are faux fur-pile or real because I would think it hypocritical not to acknowledge a python, ostrich, cow hide, leather, lamb, alligator, ‘kermit’ and not to mention meat, that I have already worn.”
Lady Gaga was referring to her infamous “meat dress,” and to a cape she wore one time that was made completely of stuffed Kermit the Frog dolls.
“I am not a strict vegan. I have truly always stayed away from skinned fur, especially I have never been able to afford a nice one, but this does not mean my morals are rigid and that I won’t bend at the sight of an absolute art piece of a coat…You see a carcass, I see a museum pièce de résistance,” 26-year-old Lady Gaga added.
“But I am truly sorry to fans who are upset by this, its a fair and applaudable feeling about the health and safety of animals. I respect your views, please respect mine.”
Lady Gaga then concluded, referring to PETA activists who flour-bombed celebrity socialite Kim Kardashian earlier this year, “And to campaigners, save your flour to make bread for the children who are hungry. And Kim Kardashian is fabulous.”
Bodyguard of Lady Gaga wrestles fan to the ground
August 17th, 2012 by faye
The bodyguard of pop star Lady Gaga tackled a fan of the singer who tried to get too close to her in Romania — and the reported brutal takedown was all caught on tape.
According to reports, 26-year-old Lady Gaga was trying to walk through the lobby of her Romanian hotel, accompanied by two huge private security guards, when suddenly, a male fan who was trying to get an autograph tried to go through a revolving door and approach the “Born This Way” singer. Gaga is said to have performed one show in Bucharest on Wednesday.
The male fan, who was carrying what appeared to be a pen and paper, was suddenly grabbed around the neck by one of the singer’s private security guard and subsequently slammed him to the ground — instantly neutralizing the threat.
Lady Gaga seemed startled at first by the incident before she continued through the lobby of the Romanian hotel.
The incident was caught on tape and posted online by degetar2000.
The male fan was eventually released after Lady Gaga had exited the hotel, and he quickly ran outside to join the other fans of the pop star who were also waiting.
Anna Nicole Smith daughter Dannielyn wants Lady Gaga as new mommy
June 20th, 2012 by edsel
The daughter of late Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith appeared to be a Little Monster, as she would like her dad Larry Birkhead to marry Lady Gaga.
According to Gossip Cop, Smith’s five-year-old daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead, seemed remarkably happy and well-adjusted despite the emotional tumult and personal tragedy into which she had been born. The adorable girl and her celebrity photographer father appeared on ‘Good Morning America’ this Monday.
Larry Birkhead told host Robin Roberts about their lives since Smith died. Birkhead said that he does his best to give Dannielynn a normal life despite the occasional intrusion of his fellow paparazzi and the long shadow cast by the scandal-plagued life and death of Anna Nicole Smith.
Gossip Cop reported that Birkhead recently took Dannielynn to the Bahamas, where her mother Smith and her half-brother Daniel were buried. Dannielynn asked her dad, “Why did mommy die?”
“I said,” Larry Birkhead recalls, “‘You know, doctors couldn’t fix her. But if you’re good,’” he had promised Dannielyn back then, “‘You’ll get to see her someday.”
Asked if the cute tyke will get a new “mommy” one day, Birkhead revealed that Dannielynn was a fan of Lady Gaga.
“She’s thinking Lady Gaga,” Larry Birkhead laughed.
Anna Nicole Smith died five years ago after overdosing on prescription drugs. Her photographer and former lover, Larry Birkhead, gained custody of their daughter Dannielynn Birkhead after a lengthy legal dispute with various other men who claimed to be Dannielynn’s father.
Madonna MDNA Tour rider allegedly “longest list of requirements” ever
June 19th, 2012 by edsel
Madonna received a different kind of exposure than the flashes of flesh she gave fans in Turkey and Italy, as a tabloid released what was reportedly her rider for her MDNA Tour.
The Huffington Post reported that tabloid InTouch Weekly acquired a copy of the Queen of Pop’s MDNA Tour rider. According to the alleged rider, Madonna reportedly traveled with a 200-person entourage that supposedly includes personal chefs, a yoga instructor, an acupuncturist, an one-site dry cleaner, and 30 bodyguards.
InTouch Weekly further reported that an insider claimed Madonna expected her dressing room to have 20 international phone lines. The room was also reported required to be draped in a special fabric and filled with lilies and white and light-pink roses whose stems were allegedly trimmed to precisely six inches.
“She requires all furniture be removed from the rooms,” another MDNA Tour insider told InTouch, “And replaced with her own pieces that she has shipped in.”
An anonymous insider informed The Daily Star through The Daily Mail that “Madonna has probably the longest list of requirements of any of the world’s music stars.” According to the source, Madonna “expects things to be just right or it puts her off her stage show.”
Recently, however, a Brit tabloid also claimed to have come across the rider of Britney Spears for her debut as an ‘X Factor’ judge. This rider was subsequently proven to be fake. The alleged MDNA Tour rider reported by InTouch Weekly might also be a fake.
Admittedly, Madonna seemed to be trying to outdo rival Lady Gaga when it came to attracting controversy. In Tel Aviv, Israel, a clip show flashed a Nazi swastika on the forehead of French political leader Marine Le Pen. Next, during a tour stop in Istanbul, Turkey early this month, Madonna flashed her right nipple to her delighted fans. And most recently, less than a week ago, on June 12, Madonna pulled down her pants to show a black thong for her audience in Rome, Italy.
The 53-year-old Madonna will continue to cover Europe this summer. Her MDNA Tour will debut in North America on Aug. 28 in Philadelphia.
Justin Bieber steals first tweet of Matt Lauer, plugs ‘Believe’ album
June 19th, 2012 by edsel
Justin Bieber playfully took over the Twitter account of ‘Today’ show co-host and Twitter newbie Matt Lauer last Friday.
According to E! News, the 18-year-old pop superstar stopped by NBC program ‘Today’ at the Rockefeller Center for an interview. With numerous Beliebers camped outside the studio, Lauer explained to Bieber that he had just signed on to Twitter on Thursday under the handle @MLauer. The ‘Today’ co-host openly wondered if The Biebs would be kind enough to show him how to send a tweet for him.
Being the King of Twitter, Justin Bieber agreed to help Matt Lauer out. “I’m going to speak very proper,” Bieber told Lauer, “Because I know that’s how you talk.”
But when Lauer attempted to dictate what Bieber should write, the ‘Die In Your Arms’ singer mischievously took it upon himself to plug his new album ‘Believe.’
“Hello,” Justin Bieber tweeted using Lauer’s handle @MLauer, “Everyone go buy Justin bieber’s album #believe coming out June 19th.”
“You didn’t write any of the stuff I asked you to write?” Lauer laughed.
E! News reported that @MLauer rapidly trended because of Bieber’s cheeky intervention. Matt Lauer gained 34,000 followers in just nine minutes. At the last count during Friday, Lauer had more than 100,000 followers.
“Bieber’s power!” the very proud Matt Lauer tweeted a little later, this time by himself.
Justin Bieber is currently holding the US leg of his ongoing series of free concerts. The Canadian singer has more than 23 million followers on Twitter; only Lady Gaga has more followers than him.
Lady Gaga hit for “inappropriate” use of Thai flag during concert
June 19th, 2012 by edsel
Lady Gaga drew fire from government officials in Thailand for her supposedly “offensive” and “inappropriate” use of the Thai flag during her Bangkok concert last year.
According to E! News, Thai officials were displeased with Mother Monster over a stunt she pulled during her Born This Way Ball concert in Bangkok. The scantily dressed Gaga had cheekily tied the Thai flag to the back of a motorcycle that she rode on stage.
As reported by Reuters, the Culture Ministry of Thailand called Gaga’s use of the Thai flag -while wearing a Thai headdress and bikini, to boot- “offensive” and “inappropriate.” The Culture Ministry added that Lady Gaga also acted disrespectful to the Thai people, so they have filed a formal police complaint regarding the flag stunt.
However, Thai authorities reportedly will not prosecute Lady Gaga for her stunt with the Thai flag.
E! News earlier reported that the controversial ‘Born This Way’ singer had already drawn fire from many Thai when she tweeted her plans to buy a fake Rolex at one of Bangkok’s numerous street markets. The Thai are very sensitive about outsiders bringing up their capital city’s infamous seedy districts.
And before that, Lady Gaga was banned from holding a planned concert in predominantly Muslim Indonesia. Local authorities refused to issue a permit for her Jakarta show early this June after Islamic critics objected to her risqué routine. The critics claimed that her performances could corrupt children’s morality. In addition, local extremists threatened to attack concertgoers if the concert took place.
Lady Gaga is currently in Australia for the Pacific leg of her ‘Born This Way Ball’ world tour.
Lady Gaga woozy from concussion but getting a little better
June 14th, 2012 by edsel
Though still woozy from a concussion she suffered onstage, Lady Gaga reassured her fans that she was all right.
According to E! News, a backup dancer accidentally hit Gaga on the head with a large pole during the New Zealand leg of her Born This Way Ball tour on Sunday. She suffered a concussion but promised her fans that she would “finish this show.” And she did, singing 16 more songs- and taking time to snipe back at Madonna during an intermission.
On Tuesday, Lady Gaga took to Twitter to assure her Little Monsters that she was feeling better. The ‘Edge of Glory’ songstress tweeted a photo of herself looking disheveled and disoriented. Her face bore what appeared to be either a black eye or full makeup.
Her message, however, was very clear. “Thank you so much for all the thoughtful messages,” Gaga tweeted. Admitting that “I feel a bit woozy,” she also assured fans that she was getting “a little better everyday” and that she was “very happy to be in beautiful Australia.”
Gaga then showed her sense of self-deprecating humor. Saying that she had just woken up after “hours of sleep,” she claimed she was “Still remiss if I should go outside. With this clonker,” Lady Gaga -who was known for wearing a meat dress- opined, “I may be of questionable styling.”
In addition to getting clocked on the noggin by a pole and enduring protests from angry conservative groups who opposed her Born This Way Ball tour, Gaga recently took hits from Madonna.
Madonna recently debuted a mash-up of ‘Born This Way’ and ‘Express Yourself’ during her MDNA World Tour concert in Tel Aviv, Israel. The mash-up seemed to be a dig against Lady Gaga, who had been accused of plagiarizing ‘Express Yourself’ to create ‘Born This Way.’
During her New Zealand show last week, Lady Gaga talked about her detractors. ”It sometimes makes people feel better about themselves, you know,” she said, “[To] put other people down or make fun of them or maybe make mockery of their work.”
After her oblique reference to Madonna, Gaga said that “[And] that doesn’t make me feel good at all.” According to her, it made her feel like she was not a good human being.
“I feel like if you’re a really good human being,” Lady Gaga told her New Zealand fans, “You can try to find something beautiful in every single person, no matter what.”
Lady Gaga: Madonna mash-up song made her feel terrible
June 13th, 2012 by edsel
The feud between Madonna and Lady Gaga appeared to be heating up as the Mother Monster implied that Madge’s remix of her song ‘Born This Way’ made her “feel like I’m not being a good human being.”
According to Examiner.com, Madonna debuted a mash-up performance of her song ‘Express Yourself’ and the Gaga tune ’Born This Way’ early last week. The latter song had been reputed to be very similar to the first song, to the point that some considered ‘Born This Way’ to be a rip-off of ‘Express Yourself.’
Lady Gaga fans considered the Madonna mash-up as an insult to their Mother Monster. On Friday, Gaga finally commented on the matter.
“It sometimes makes people feel better about themselves,” Gaga said of the ‘Express Yourself’-'Born This Way’ while on the stage, “To put other people down or make fun of them,” she supposed, “Or maybe make mockery of their work.”
According to Lady Gaga, such mockery did not make her feel good at all. “That just makes me feel like I’m not being a good human being,” she related.
Her reaction drew mixed commentary from critics. Some praised Lady Gaga for elegantly expressing her mind about the matter. Others have called Mother Monster a hypocrite for slamming Madonna while being guilty of doing the same.
Examiner.com reported that fans of Gaga -called Little Monsters- have spread Madonna death hoaxes on Twitter. Some Gaga fans also reportedly created blogs that make fun of Madonna’s age, her children, and even Madge’s late mother. In addition, critics noted that Lady Gaga supposedly called the supporters of Madonna “retarded.”
Both Lady Gaga and Madonna currently play to sold-out crowds. Gaga is in the New Zealand leg of her ‘Born This Way Ball’ tour while Madonna will take her ‘MDNA World Tour’ to Rome this Tuesday.
