“She’s Got You” singer LeAnn Rimes has just filed a lawsuit against two women she claims recorded a conversation with her illegally and then spread it across the Internet.

According to reports, the lawsuit which was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court states that LeAnn Rimes claims Kimberly Smiley and Lexi Smiley are supporters of reality TV star Brandi Glanville — the former wife of actor Eddie Cibrian — and they engaged in a campaign to trash her and wreak havoc on her life when she hooked up with Cibrian.

Just this spring, LeAnn claims that she called Kimberly Smiley to try and stop the negative Internet activity they are spreading. During their conversation, the singer said that she tried to be kind and said she wanted peace.

Rimes then alleged that Kimberly Smiley and Lexi Smiley illegally and secretly taped the conversation and then released out-of-context excerpts, putting her in a “false and negative light.” The two women also allegedly made statements that LeAnn Rimes was “crazy and delusional.”

Now, the singer has decided to file a lawsuit for invasion of privacy.

Larry Stein, the lawyer of 30-year-old Rimes, said that the singer will also go to the police in an effort to get the people responsible for the recording prosecuted.

Previous reports have stated that LeAnn Rimes is currently in a treatment facility to seek help for her coping issues.

LeAnn Rimes not in rehab facility

“You Light Up My Life” singer LeAnn Rimes is not inside a rehab facility, although she is said to be dealing with a severe inability to cope up with anxiety and stress.

According to reports from media outlet TMZ, they had doubts when initially told that LeAnn Rimes is not in a traditional rehab facility and that she was getting treatment for drug and eating disorder problems. But after making various calls, TMZ learned that the singer’s decision to seek help is limited only to coping issues.

Sources said that LeAnn Rimes has been recently in a meltdown state over a feud that she’s been having with a group of people who are upset about her newfound relationship with “CSI: Miami” star Eddie Cibrian. The said group has gone after her in a big way on the microblogging site, Twitter. The singer is said to have fought back at the cyber bullies instead of just ignoring them. Sources said that the stress has been unbearable for LeAnn Rimes and that she wanted help.

With regards to the kind of help, sources claim that the singer is in a facility that teaches people how to handle adversity and stress. Rimes is free to leave during weekends, something that is not allowed in a rehab. She is also allowed to use her mobile phone at any time.

Sources said that LeAnn Rimes will be going home this weekend, and that she’s telling people she already feels stronger.

Singer LeAnn Rimes believes that she is a victim in an abusive phone tapping conspiracy — and now, her lawyer said that she is prepping up to file a lawsuit against the people behind the illegal activity.

According to reports, media outlet TMZ was able to speak with LeAnn Rimes high-profile attorney, Larry Stein, who said that the 30-year-old “Can’t Fight The Moonlight” singer has been victimized by a gang of cyber bullies who have been terrorizing her on Twitter ever since she had a relationship with actor Eddie Cibrian.

Attorney Stein said that LeAnn Rimes spoke to one of the cyber bullies on the phone recently, but without her knowledge, the bully recorded their conversation and even spread bits and pieces of the recording around the Internet.

In California, recording a phone call without the consent from both parties is considered illegal. Now, Stein said that LeAnn Rimes will “take all of the appropriate steps to address the harm that [she] has suffered as a result of this criminal conduct.”

As for who is behind the phone tapping, Stein did not say anything, but insisted that Brandi Glanville — Eddie Cibrian’s former wife — is not currently a suspect.

Days after ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Brandi Glanville revealed that she once felt like she was “going to kill” LeAnn Rimes, guess which country singer appeared at a shooting range this Thursday?

TMZ reported that the new wife of Glanville’s ex-husband Eddie Cibrian proudly posted Twitter photos and a video clip of herself pouring lead into target silhouettes with a pistol and an assault rifle.

“I used to go shopping on a day off,” LeAnn Rimes tweeted after her trip to the shooting range, “now I go shooting!”

In an earlier interview with Us Weekly, Rimes shared that having grown up in Mississippi and Texas, “I definitely know my way around a gun.” Her interest in her future husband Eddie Cibrian was kindled when they went to a shooting range to practice using guns for the movie ‘Nora Roberts’ Northern Lights.’

“I had to learn how to handle rifles and handguns,” LeAnn Rimes told US Weekly, “So it was fun.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian had a much-publicized love affair that ended with Cibrian abandoning his wife Brandi Glanville -but taking their kids with him- to marry Rimes. Glanville is currently petitioning a court to allow her children to appear with her on ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ to increase her quality time with their kids.

Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes will never be friends -in fact, Glanville admitted that she wanted to hurt or even kill Rimes for taking her husband Eddie Cibrian and Glanville’s children from her- but all she asks for is that LeAnn be “good to my kids.”

Gossip Cop reported that, in an interview with Australia’s NW HQ magazine, the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star recalled the first time she saw Rimes at her son’s soccer practice. “I remember walking up,” Brandi Glanville said, “And there she was with my baby in her lap.”

“My blood was boiling, and I thought I was going to kill her,” Glanville said of LeAnn Rimes. “I really thought I was going to physically hurt her.”

Brandi Glanville explained that it was the first time she saw Rimes in that manner. “She was sitting in my soccer chair, under my tent, she’s got my kid on her lap and she’s with my husband,” she pointed out, which led to a “little moment of total irrational fury.”

Saying that, “We’re never going to be best friends,” Brandi Glanville admitted that LeAnn Rimes was “good to my kids, they love her and that’s all I could ask for,” she said.

“If they didn’t like her,”  the 39-year-old reality star pointed out, “I’d be in court right now, fighting. It’s not about me,” Glanville asserted, “It’s about them.”

That’s why the reality star is pleased to hear the rumors that LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement. “My kids’ futures will be taken care of if that’s true,” Brandi Glanville said.

Reality star Brandi Glanville claimed to have rooted for Giuliana Rancic in the latter’s struggle to conceive a child- until Rancic called her “nuts” on ‘Fashion Police.’

According to Gossip Cop, a recent episode of ‘Fashion Police’ featured the cast talking about the marriage of Glanville’s ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and his new wife LeAnn Rimes. “I use to totally poo-poo this relationship,” Rancic said of Cibrian and Rimes, “And then I watched his ex-wife on the ‘Real Housewives.’ She is nuts.”

When Brandi Glanville heard about the diss, she allegedly got on Twitter and posted, “It’s sad cuz I’ve been rooting 4her through her illness.”

Glanville’s tweet referred to Rancic’s inability to bear a child herself.

“Hopefully her man doesn’t leave her & give her surrogate baby to a bonus mom,” Brandi Glanville continued about Giuliana Rancic.

The ‘Real Housewives’ star later deleted the alleged tweet. She also wrote several new posts defending her harsh remark.

“What I said was honest not mean,” Brandi Glanville clarified on Twitter. “once you become a mother u really see things differently when it comes to cheating.”

Added Glanville: “Trust me I did all I could for that man. This woman doesn’t know me from adam so whatev!”

She then sent a tweet to Giuliana Rancic herself. “@GiulanaRancic Its all good she doesnt know me and when you do a reality show you open urself up for judgment.”

Her feud with Brandi Glanville isn’t the first time Giuliana Rancic drew the ire of a woman married to Eddie Cibrian. The previous year saw her on the bad side of LeAnn Rimes after Rancic commented that she wanted to feed Rimes.

Brandi Glanville was set to become a regular on ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’- except her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and Eddie’s new wife -singer LeAnn Rimes- refused to let their kids appear on the show.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, Brandi was going to graduate from ‘friend’ to full-fledged cast member during Season 3. But Bravo had a condition for the upgrade.

“Bravo wanted her to have her kids on the show in order to expand story lines,” a source said of Brandi Glanville. “But Leann and Eddie wouldn’t allow it.”

Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes started an affair while married to their respective spouses. They filed for divorce and married each other not long afterward. Cibrian and Rimes recently marked their one-year anniversary by renewing their vows.

Despite the multiple photo-ops where the three are seen sharing smiles at the kids’ events together, there’s still plenty of tension between LeAnn Rimes and Brandi Glanville.

“Brandi didn’t expect that LeAnn and Eddie would have objections since the kids have been on the show before, but they did,” the source shared.

“Eddie said they did not want the children on camera. So Bravo said that Brandi would have to stay ‘friend’ and not become an official ‘housewife.’”

Fans of Brandi Glanville will still see her alongside Taylor Armstrong and the other members of the ’The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.’

This seemed to be a little bit of an awkward moment for American country/pop singer LeAnn Rimes and TV host Chelsea Handler during the stand-up comedienne’s show, “Chelsea Lately.”

LeAnn Rimes, together with her attention-stealing, killer red stilletto pumps, were a guest on “Chelsea Lately” to talk about her new album entitled ‘Ladies and Gentlemen.’ The interview of LeAnn Rimes with the show’s host, Chelsea Handler, commenced in a very blunt and frank manner.

“I know that you’ve seen me talking s–t about you,” Chelsea Handler told singer, LeAnn Rimes.

To which, LeAnn Rimes responded, “Absolutely. I have, which is more why I wanted to come on.”

“Can’t Fight the Moonlight” singer LeAnn Rimes explained to Chelsea Handler that while her divorce to former husband Dean Sheremet is in the process, LeAnn Rimes would be crying her eyes out and watching ‘Chelsea Lately’ in hopes of getting a few good laughs.

“And I was watching your show thinking I could get a laugh out of it, instead I was laughing at you laughing at me,” 29-year-old LeAnn Rimes said.

Nevertheless,  it’s all good, because LeAnn Rimes also told Chelsea Handler that it was the “first time I could laugh and cry at the same time.”

After talking about the launch of her new album and Chelsea Handler trash-talking LeAnn Rimes before, the topic of the interview took a turn on how the singer has been seen and photographed everywhere with her new beau Eddie Cibrian, especially in her bikini. The singer argued to the statement and said, “I am on the damn beach, for God’s sake.” Chelsea Handler and LeAnn Rimes also talked about the whole issue of LeAnn Rimes losing weight and getting so much thinner.
