“Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen” star Lindsay Lohan said it is not a surprise that her father, Michael Lohan, claims she is still abusing alcohol and drugs — saying convicted criminals have an inclination to lie when their family cuts them off.

Reports said that Lindsay Lohan is telling her close friends that she laughed at the story published by TMZ that her dad, Michael Lohan, is trying to get a conservatorship for her, claiming “No judge would buy it.”

LiLo went on, saying, “”They would have a hard time believing the claims of someone who was investigated for insider trading, arrested for domestic violence multiple times, arrested for assault, has a drunk driving arrest, and has been in and out of jail and prison for years.”

Lindsay Lohan said father Michael Lohan’s failed attempt at intervention and his move to get a conservatorship for her were triggered by Lindsay’s decision to cut off all kinds of contact with him.

The actress said she is particularly angry at the emails between Michael Lohan and her management team about Lindsay using cocaine and guzzling alcohol, claiming everything is a lie.

Lindsay Lohan says she and her family are now working up papers to get an order of protection against Michael Lohan.

Actress Lindsay Lohan is finally off the hook in her alleged hit-and-run case that occurred in front of a New York City hotel back in September.

According to reports, 26-year-old Lindsay Lohan was initially scheduled to appear in court Tuesday on charges stemming from her September 19 arrest, when she allegedly hit a bystander as she drove her fancy Porsche Cayenne outside the Dream Downtown Hotel in the Chelsea section of Manhattan. The actress then went inside the hotel for a couple of hours, then left the scene of the accident.

However, after surveillance footage of the alleged hit-and-run emerged, prosecutors handling the case decided that there was not enough evidence to get a conviction, so they eventually decided to drop the case against Lindsay Lohan.

TMZ reports that the alleged victim, Jose Rodriguez, can still choose to pursue a civil case against Lindsay Lohan — if he chooses to go that route.

Previous reports have stated that Rodriguez told reporters he had suffered torn tendons in the encounter.

The news comes shortly after it was revealed that Lindsay’s father, Michael Lohan, is seeking a conservatorship for his daughter after growing concerned she is hanging around with a bad crowd, including her mother Dina Lohan.

However, Michael said he does not want to be the conservator — an appointed person who has legal control over the subject — and is requesting a judge to decided who to appoint as a conservator for the “Liz & Dick” actress.

Michael is convinced Lindsay Lohan has gone back to abusing alcohol and drugs and he wants her conservator to persuade her to go back to a rehab to seek help.

“Liz & Dick” star Lindsay Lohan is utterly pissed off at her father, Michael Lohan, that the actress wants to have a restraining order issued against her father after his failed attempt at intervention.

According to reports, following the failed intervention attempt of Michael Lohan last Friday, 26-year-old Lindsay Lohan had decided that she wants his father to stay away from her and the rest of the Lohan family once and for all.

TMZ reports that Lindsay Lohan is very angry that father Michael Lohan would attempt to make use of her name to regain relevance to the family, and she is now seeking to get an order of protection against him to make sure the incident does not happen again.

Lindsay’s mother, TV personality Dina Lohan, has long expressed the same sentiments, accusing her former husband Michael of taking advantage of their daughter’s popularity for his own benefit.

“This sole act by my ex was not an intervention nor was this extreme antic sanctioned by any member of Lindsay’s family or her professional team of handlers,” Dina said in a statement.

However, recent evidence in the form of text messages and emails reveal that this was not the case.

In a series of correspondence between Michael and Lindsay Lohan’s manager, Evan Hainey, her entertainment lawyer, Dave Feldman, and her criminal defense lawyer, Shawn Holley, it appears that Michael’s attempt to reach out to his daughter was not planned solo.

“She is AGAIN, taking pills to keep her up and to sleep (adderall)!! I even know that she is and was drinking during work as far back as Liz and Dick!” concerned father Michael Lohan wrote in an email obtained by media outlet TMZ, dated September 23.

“I am asking you to PLEASE PLEASE find a way to get her to LA toward the end of the first week of October or the beginning of the second so we can do an intervention and FINALLY end this madness!” Hainey, Lindsay Lohan’s manager, responded that he was “hearing the same things,” and Holley, the actress’ lawyer, agreed with Michael’s plan: “Let’s do it.”

Then, as recently as October 12, Michael Lohan and Dave Feldman, Lohan’s entertainment lawyer, went on with the plans in a number of emails meant to set up a conference call with a well-known interventionist, Earl Hightower.

The final plan, sent via text messages the day before and the day of the intervention, would have Michael approach Lindsay Lohan first, and then have everyone show up briefly afterwards.

On Friday, Michael Lohan showed up at his daughter’s home in Beverly Hills around 4:40 p.m. with the intention of convincing the actress to consider going to rehab.

“Her team and I staged an intervention, but she resisted,” Michael told the Daily News.

However, instead of listening to what her father had to say, Lindsay Lohan called the police, and the rest of the supposed interventionists abandoned ship.

Earlier this month, authorities were similarly called to the residence of Lindsay Lohan, although the parent in question at the time was her mother Dina Lohan, who had gotten into a heated argument with the “Herbie: Fully Loaded” star.

“Freaky Friday” star Lindsay Lohan called the authorities early Sunday morning after claiming that she got assaulted in her New York City hotel room by a man the actress had just met.

According to a law enforcement official, the 26-year-old actress told police she met a man named Christian LaBella at 1 Oak — a nightclub in Chelsea. Lindsay Lohan said that they got into a verbal altercation later on in her room at W Hotel after the man had taken photos of her on his mobile phone.

A few of the actress’ friends were in the room at the time the photos were taken.

The official was not authorized to publicly talk about the encounter which took place Sunday morning, and spoke to media outlet The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

Law enforcement officials interviewed both Lindsay Lohan and Christian LaBella and determined the accusations against the latter could not be justified, saying that his arrest would be voided. A while later, LaBella was released from police custody.

Instead, officials said the warring duo sought harassment complaints against each other.

Police sources said that Christian Labella was taking pictures of the actress partying. Labella and Lohan then got into a brawl in the room before going out into the hallway of the W hotel, where he allegedly tried to choke her.

According to a Fox News Channel producer who was at the same hotel when the incident happened, a fire alarm was pulled during the physical altercation of Lindsay Lohan and Christian LaBella, but the hotel told other guests there was no need to evacuate the premises. After the police arrived at the W Hotel, the actress was interrogated while cops remained outside her room for six hours

“They thought I took pictures but I didn’t,” Labella was heard telling police in the lobby, where he was caught.

The New York Police Department told Fox News that the victim of the alleged attack was a white, 26-year-old female, but would not confirm it was Lindsay Lohan.

LaBella was subsequently taken into police custody around six in the morning, authorities confirmed.

The said man involved in the fight with Lindsay Lohan has been charged before with two counts of misdemeanor assault and two counts of harassment.

“Lindsay was assaulted early this morning in a New York hotel. While she did sustain some injuries, she was not hospitalized,” Steve Honig, Lohan’s publicist, said in a statement. “The assailant was arrested and is currently in police custody. Lindsay has spoken with police and is fully cooperating with the investigation.”

TMZ reports said that this is not the first time Christian Labella was involved in rubbing arms with Hollywood celebrities. Labella’s Facebook page is said to contain photos of him with stars such as Kim Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner.

Steve Tomaszewski, a spokesman for Rep. John Shimkus, R-Il., confirmed Sunday afternoon that LaBella has worked for the congressman in his Washington office. Tomaszewski said no one from the Republican’s office had been contacted by LaBella.

In a statement, Tomaszewski said, “obviously, the Congressman does not condone [LaBella's] actions. As this is a legal matter for Mr. LaBella, the Congressman nor his office will make further comment.”

Meanwhile, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was previously arrested in New York City on September 20 after she allegedly grazed a man walking in front of her vehicle while pulling into the Dream Hotel, according to surveillance footage from the NYPD. She is due in court on October 23.

“Herbie: Fully Loaded” star Lindsay Lohan has slammed Dr. Phil on her Twitter account, claiming that the TV personality and psychologist took “advantage” of her mom, Dina Lohan, during a recent appearance on his afternoon talk show.

According to previous reports, Dina Lohan seemed completely out of it during her interview with Dr. Phil that was aired earlier this month. She was also confused a few times as to whether the camera was on. At one point, Dina even gave the camera the finger.

There have been questions as to whether Dina Lohan, who cried during the interview, was possibly drunk, but the Lohan matriarch vehemently denies she was intoxicated during her chat with Dr. Phil.

On Saturday, Lindsay Lohan defended her mom. The actress tweeted: “@DrPhil You should be ashamed of yourself. What kind of man takes advantage of a woman @her most vulnerable state? YOU are the fraud.”

Her tweet has since been deleted.

However, Lindsay Lohan kept a message on Twitter that praised her mother and described her as “amazing, beautiful, talented, strong.”

This is not the first time Lohan has taken on a TV shrink.

Back in 2010, after Dr. Drew said he would pack the actress’ “car full with illegal substances, send her on her way, call the police, and make sure she was arrested,” Lindsay Lohan told media outlet Gossip Cop that she thought he was “a quack.”

“Mean Girls” star Lindsay Lohan has just been arrested after she fled the scene of an accident early Wednesday morning, when she allegedly hit a pedestrian in downtown Manhattan.

According to law enforcement sources, Lindsay Lohan was pulling in to park her Porsche Cayenne near the Dream Hotel in downtown New York City when she allegedly hit the knee of a 30-something year old guy.

The troubled actress was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident two hours after the incident took place in an alley between the Maritime and Dream hotels in Chelsea. Lohan was given a desk appearance ticket.

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said that police don’t think Lindsay Lohan — who is currently on probation — was drunk, but no breathalyzer test was performed.

The chef, Jose Rodriguez, who was allegedly hit by Lindsay Lohan as she drove her Porsche in Manhattan, claims the starlet was “slurring” her words and “smelled like alcohol.”

“They acted like I was nothing,” Jose Rodriguez told the Daily News hours after the early Wednesday incident. “That no one could touch her because she was rich and powerful.”

An NYPD source who saw surveillance video of the accident said Lindsay Lohan did not appear drunk and that Rodriguez didn’t make that claim to police officers who responded. The source added that the contact between the vehicle and Rodriguez was “slight,” and that he ran down the ramp after being struck.

Meanwhile, Lohan’s spokesman, Steve Honig, called the incident “much ado about nothing.”

“We are confident this matter will be cleared up in the coming weeks and the claims being made against Lindsay will be proven untrue,” he said.

Jose Rodriguez said he had just left Bottega, the restaurant where he works at the adjacent Maritime, and was walking on the underground ramp when he “saw this car come real quick and hit me.”

“I was in so much pain. I fell to the side,” he said, adding that when Lohan emerged from the Porsche Cayenne, “I asked, ‘Why did you do that?’

“She said, ‘You have to get out of the way.’ She told me I have to move.”

“She was slurring,” Rodriguez claims. “She smelled like alcohol real bad.”

Jose Rodriguez said one of the men in the car moved Lindsay Lohan from the driver’s seat into the back and then told him there was “no problem.”

“He kept saying, ‘We have to move the car,’ and for me to move,” the chef said. “They drove off, like it didn’t matter.”

The police source said the surveillance video shows Lindsay Lohan blinked her headlights to catch the attention of about eight people in her way, but that Jose Rodriguez walked right in front of the Lohan’s car.

“There’s contact — slight contact,” the source said. “Then he realizes what’s happened. He doesn’t go down. He takes off after the car…You see him on the driver’s side talking to her.”

Rodriguez was reportedly taken to the Bellevue Hospital, where he said the doctors told him he suffered from torn tendons and gave him morphine to ease the pain he was feeling.

It’s unclear where Lindsay Lohan went, but Electric Room security called the police when she returned at 2:30 a.m. The actress was subsequently arrested, taken to the 10th Precinct stationhouse, where a lawyer met her. Lohan was eventually released at 5:30 a.m. and is due back in court on October 23.

Lohan’s vehicle was spotted later outside the Bowery Hotel, where her former girlfriend, DJ Samantha Ronson, has been staying. A parking ticket was left on the car’s windshield when a valet drove it away.

Jose Rodriguez insisted that he didn’t recognize “Liz & Dick” star  Lindsay Lohan after he was struck .

“I didn’t know who she was until people told me. I don’t know why she couldn’t just do the right thing,” he said.

Aside from filing a complaint with the police, the chef made an incident report with Maritime security in which he said “the female appeared disoriented.”

“Mr. Rodriguez took pictures with his cell phone of the vehicle license plate but was prevented from taking pictures of the individuals by Dream Hotel security,” the report says.

Lindsay Lohan gave police a California address, and the Porsche has Florida plates, but she’s reportedly looking for a pad in Manhattan with her assistant, Gavin Doyle.

Actress Lindsay Lohan recently said that the producers of the biopic “Liz &Dick” promised to shoulder her massive bill at the Chateau Marmont hotel — but reports said that is not the case.

As previous reports have stated, Lindsay Lohan racked up a hotel will worth $47,000, but then stiffed the Chateau Marmont. As a result, she was banned from the hotel premises.

However, the “Mean Girls” star claims that she thought her “Liz & Dick” producers would foot the bill, but sources very familiar with the situation said that the production never promised to handle the hotel bill of the actress.

Sources connected to Lindsay Lohan said that the producers did give the actress a one-time only, $5,000 advance against her salary in late May so she could move into the hotel, but that was it. There was never even an implication that the production company would shoulder her hotel bill at Chateau Marmont.

But Lohan has said that if the “Liz & Dick” producers doesn’t pay her bill, she will.

“Freaky Friday” star Lindsay Lohan is fighting back against claims that she trashed Elizabeth Taylor’s priceless 1963 “Cleopatra” trailer during the filming of her new movie — despite the accusations from the owner of the trailer.

According to reports, the owner of the Liz Taylor trailer — a woman named Angel Alger — bought the exuberant trailer for $50,000 in June, and agreed to loan it to Lifetime producers this summer for the filming of Lindsay Lohan’s Elizabeth Taylor biopic “Liz & Dick.”

The Liz Taylor trailer was said to be furnished with priceless memorabilia from when Liz Taylor used the trailer herself while filming “Cleopatra” in 1963. However, when it was returned to Angel Alger after filming, she claims the trailer was trashed. According to Alger, the Liz Taylor trailer was covered in broken dishes and glasses, cigarette burns, and numerous priceless antiques were missing — which included an old European rocking chair and a French telephone.

Alger told CNN that she estimates the damage to be around $100,000, and when she was asked who she thought was the culprit, she said that it’s Lindsay Lohan.

However, Alger admitted that she had no proof to back up her accusations against Lindsay Lohan, explaining she jumped to the conclusion simply because she was told Lohan and her friends were the ones who had regular access to the Liz Taylor trailer.

Now, the rep of Lindsay Lohan, Steve Honig, said that the allegations are not true. Honig said, “Lindsay had nothing to do with it. It’s an absurd story.”

Angel Alger said she wants the missing stuff returned, and hopes to repair the rest of the trailer so she can put it on display.

Pop star Lady Gaga weighed in on the jewelry heist drama that actress Lindsay Lohan is currently embroiled in.

According to reports, right after “Liz & Dick” star Lindsay Lohan posted a photo of her wearing some fancy, sparkly earrings on her Twitter account while out to dinner in New York City, Lady Gaga made a cheeky joke.

“Bad Romance” singer Lady Gaga commented, “@lindsaylohan ummmm are those my earrings??? this is awkward…:) kiss kiss chateau bunny.”

It was apparently meant as a joke, but Lady Gaga appears to have since removed the remark she made on the social networking site.

Lindsay Lohan and Lady Gaga are said to be close pals, recently sharing a sleepover at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood — where the actress has now been banned due to an unpaid hotel bill worth $46,000.

The tweet of Lady Gaga on Tuesday came just hours after Lindsay Lohan was officially let off the hook over an alleged jewelry heist from a friend’s house earlier this month.

The actress, along with her assistant Gavin Doyle, have been involved in the incident, but the District Attorney’s office ruled that there wasn’t enough evidence to link the two to the jewelry theft that occurred on August 18 in Los Angeles.

Previous reports have stated that expensive items have been taken from Sam Magid’s Hollywood Hills mansion, including designer sunglasses, watches and Tiffany cutlery — all worth $100,000.

Lindsay Lohan even claimed that Andrew Knight — the son of Suge Knight — is the real culprit and that he had set her up.

However, a prosecutor wrote in a charge evaluation form, “We do not have sufficient evidence to prove this case beyond a reasonable doubt. One of the suspects makes a vague admission that he and the others were there, and that ‘someone’ took something but is not more specific than that. The fact that our suspects are found in a car that is similar to the one seen at the time of the burglary adds little to the case. Mr. Magid, also retracted his initial report that items were stolen which complicated attempts to prosecute.”

The prosecutor continued, “In addition to these evidentiary insufficiencies, the [victims] do not wish to pursue the prosecution of this matter.”

Steve Honig, the spokesman of Lindsay Lohan said in a statement, “Lindsay is glad this matter has been cleared up so she can focus on her upcoming projects.”

But the legal troubles of Lindsay Lohan seem to be unending. Recent reports stated that Lohan is also being sought by the Santa Monica police following a car crash on the Pacific Coast Highway last year. Following the accident, the actress told police she was just a passenger in the vehicle, which had driven into the back of a truck.

An investigation is now underway to determine whether Lindsay Lohan was in fact behind the wheel of the car that time. In case she is found guilty of lying to the authorities, she could face up to one year behind prison bars.

In February of last year, Lindsay Lohan was infamously charged with shoplifting a necklace from a Venice jewellery store. She was subsequently charged with misdemeanor theft and probation violation, and was sentenced to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service.
