Stand-up comedian and “Celebrity Apprentice” contender Lisa Lampanelli is one big supporter of the Trumps, and she definitely stands firm behind her TV boss. Lisa Lampanelli told TMZ that she doesn’t care if Donald Trump Jr. and his brother, Eric, killed animals during their hunting trip in Zimbabwe – and Lisa Lampanelli, in fact, loves it.

According to TMZ reports, they got hold of Lisa Lampanelli while she was out and about in New York on Tuesday night. When she was asked about the controversial Trump hunting trip last year, in which Donald Trump Jr. and Eric killed an elephant, crocodile, waterbuck and more animals.

The 50-year-old comedian replied, “I love the fact that Mr. Trump and the little other Mr. Trump … and the other one [approve of hunting] … I would love it if Ivanka got out there with a bazooka.” Lisa Lampanelli then added, “Hunt all you want g*d d*mmit.”

As previous reports have stated, Donald Trump Jr. claims he was not killing the animals just for fun. He insists the meat from his kills were used to feed local villagers. However, animal rights group PETA and the Twitterverse are not convinced of such excuse.

“If the young Trumps are looking for a thrill, perhaps they should consider skydiving, bungee jumping, or even following in their anti-hunting father’s footsteps and taking down competing businesses—not wild animals,” PETA said in a statement.

Donald Trump Jr., on the other hand, defended their actions. He posted his response on Twitter, writing, “I have no shame about [the pics]. I HUNT & EAT game … I’m a hunter, for that I make no apologies.” Donald Trump Jr. continued, “I can assure you it was not wasteful … the villagers were so happy for the meat which they don’t often get to eat. Very grateful. These are not endangered animals as an fyi.”
