It seems like the Grammy Awards and Twitter did not yet satisfy the bashing rampage of country singer Miranda Lambert against R&B artist Chris Brown. According to reports, Lambert slammed Brown once again, and this time during her concert in Massachusetts on Thursday night.
Miranda Lambert waged a verbal war with Chris Brown after the Grammy Awards, complaining that Brown was given the opportunity to perform twice despite his violent history with ex-beau, Rihanna.
During her concert last Thursday, Miranda Lambert held up a fan’s sign which says, “Take Notes Chris Brown” before the 28-year-old crooner sang “Gunpowder and Lead,” a song depicting the story of a woman preparing to kill her abusive husband.
“Get a good picture now, put it on Twitter,” Lambert said, while holding up the poster. “I’ve been in a world of hurt with Chris Brown fans lately … but see, I just have to speak my mind because where I come from beating up on a woman is never okay.” After the crowd applauded, Lambert added, “So that’s why my daddy taught me early on in life how to use a shotgun.”
“Chris Brown twice? I don’t get it. He beat on a girl,” Miranda Lambert tweeted on February 12. “Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and Lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys.”
Many of Miranda Lambert’s songs, like “White Liar” and “I Wanna Die” are known to bash men.

Along with the Twitter haters who think Chris Brown did not deserve to perform and win at the GrammyAwards is country music artist Miranda Lambert, who questioned the two performances of Chris Brown during the much-anticipated Grammys.
The 28-year-old Miranda Lambert tweeted on Monday, “How dang long did they give Nicki Minaj to do whatever that was? Strange. And Chris Brown twice? I don’t get it. He beat on a girl…Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and Lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys.”
“Gunpowder and Lead” is a song by Miranda Lambert depicting a woman preparing to kill her abusive husband when he gets out of jail.
The 2012 Grammy Awards marks the comeback of Chris Brown to the show since 2009, when the songwriter-performer assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna at a pre-Grammys party.
Miranda Lambert went on saying, “Now…Bruno Mars…yes please! That rocked and also Adele…dug! And Jennifer Hudson! That’s real music. Kinda made up for all the suck.”
Aside from country singer Miranda Lambert, a number of other celebrities expressed their thoughts as well regarding the comeback of Chris Brown at the Grammy Awards, and among these stars are Eric Stonestreet.
“Are Chris Brown’s mom and dad CBS and Grammy Brown?” Stonestreet asked.
Comedienne and actress Sherri Shepherd also gave her point of view by saying, “Looks like all is forgiven w/ Chris Brown. That’s all I’ll say.”
Jack Osbourne also had a say about Chris Brown: “Chris brown…people don’t forget! #chrisbrownbeatswomen. If Chris Brown had worn a wife beater, the irony would eclipse the whole show #chrisbrownbeatswomen.”
Michelle Branch also added to the throng of disbelief, tweeting, “Trying not to go off on a rant but…Chris Brown…*bites tongue* have we forgiven him? #Grammys.”
Answering Michelle Branch’s question is a remark from Ethan Suplee:
“Why wasn’t Chris Brown fired from ‘music’ (public dancing) when he beat up that girl?…Dear ‘thugs’ and ‘gangstas’ of the hip-hop industry, how is it that none of you ‘handled’ Chris Brown? #thuglife #prisonrules #getsome.”
Wil Wheaton, though his comment was simply put, seemed to top it all off:
“Everyone who apparently forgot what Chris Brown did to Rihanna should read the police report on exactly what he did.”
Miranda Lambert attended the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles with her spouse Blake Shelton who was a double nominee.
Grammy-winning singer Miranda Lambert is best known for her hits including “The House That Built Me” and “White Liar.”
