‘Hannah Montana’ Star Mitchel Musso Strikes Plea Deal in DUI Case

Someone got lucky to have avoided spending some time in jail! “Hannah Montana” star Mitchel Musso, was arrested by the authorities in October of 2011 due to a DUI case in the Los Angeles suburb of Burbank, California.
According to the reports, Mitchel Musso, who portrayed the character of Oliver Oken in the said hit TV series, was able to strike a plea deal for his DUI case. The 20-year-old Hannah Montana star Mitchel Musso pled no contest to one count of having a blood alcohol level of over 0.08. In exchange, Mitchel Musso will be sentenced to 36 months of informal probation. In addition to that, he also has to pay a fine and attend alcohol education classes.
If Mitchel Musso was found guilty of all charges against him, he could have been behind bars for a period of up to six months.
Mitchel Musso released a statement regarding his DUI case in which he told E! News, “I appreciate the court allowing me to resolve my DUI case in the manner it did today. In becoming an adult, I have learned first-hand that stepping up and taking responsibility is the best way to move forward. I am especially thankful to my family and fans for their unwavering support and encouragement. I am glad to now put this in the past.”
