July 31st, 2012 by faye
Troubled “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” star Nick Stahl has been spotted in West Hollywood on Monday — after months of disappearing, reappearing and checking in and out, and back in again from rehab.
As previous reports have stated, Rose Stahl, the wife of 32-year-old Nick Stahl, reported him missing back in May when he disappeared for a week. The actor was reunited with his family earlier this month and is now seeking treatment for substance abuse.
Despite his troubles in life, Nick Stahl has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support after dealing with his personal problems in recent months.
Rose Stahl, who demanded her husband to undergo random drug tests before allowing him to spend time with their daughter, called off the search for Nick Stahl at the end of last month. She subsequently begged the distressed actor to return home.
Nick and Rose Stahl are believed to have reconciled since, and on Sunday, the actor spoke out to acknowledge his family and fans for standing by his side through thick and thin.
Returning to his Twitter account for the first time since May 1, Nick Stahl tweeted, “I really want to thank everyone, strangers and comrades, for all of the love and support freely given to myself and my family. All my love to my beautiful wife. I couldn’t have gotten here without you sweetheart.”
Starting out as a child actor, Nick Stahl gained recognition for his performance in the 1993 film “The Man Without a Face,” and then embarked on a successful career as a child actor. He later transitioned into his adult career with roles in “Bully,” “In the Bedroom,” “Sin City,” the HBO series “Carnivàle,” and the film “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines,” in which he took over the role of John Connor, initially portrayed by Edward Furlong. He also starred in the 2010 film “Mirrors 2.”

Former “Terminator” star Nick Stahl is currently getting treatment in a rehab again.
According to reports from media outlet TMZ, 32-year-old Nick Stahl is going to AA classes and is now “in a good place.” Sources said that the actor has not moved back home yet, but is staying somewhere else and is in constant communication with the family.
As previous reports have stated, Stahl was reported missing on two occasions and then checked into rehab a few weeks later. The “Terminator” actor disappeared again last month before returning this time.

Since Nick Stahl apparently liked to play hide-and-seek with rehab and his estranged wife Rose Stahl, the latter decided to let the missing actor be by calling off the search for him.
The Inquisitr reported that this was the second time the 32-year-old Stahl went underground. He recently entered a rehabilitation facility and was expected to stay for a month. However, he suddenly went against his doctor’s wishes and checked out early. MTV reported that Stahl claimed his two-week-long stay depressed him.
Mere days ago, Stahl’s estranged wife, Rose Stahl, claimed that no one had seen or heard from him in four day. She also didn’t want to discuss the matter anymore.
According to E! News, Nick Stahl stayed with a friend after his early rehab check-out. He was also seen wandering around downtown Los Angeles. Around Thursday, though, he vanished without a trace.
“Now he’s disappeared,” a source told E! News. “We can’t find him anywhere.”
According to the source, Nick Stahl “has not made contact with anyone. We are all just desperately looking for him,” said a source.
“Everyone just wants him to come home,” the source added. Calling the situation “terrible,” the source assured that “We are searching” for Nick Stahl despite lacking any solid leads.
And now Nick’s estranged wife Rose Stahl was calling it quits on the search.
TMZ reported that Rose was quitting her search for her troubled husband. She also didn’t plan to involve the police this time around. “I’m backing off,” she claimed.
“He knows exactly where home is,” Rose Stahl said of the missing Nick Stahl. ” It’s the loving thing to do for him, myself, and our daughter.”

Maybe SkyNet is really out to get Nick Stahl, because the troubled ‘Terminator 3′ star had gone missing once more.
E! News reported that Stahl’s family and friends have started a new search for the 32-year-old actor. His estranged wife, Rose Murphy Stahl confirmed that her husband had “been missing for four days. But I don’t want to comment any further,” she told E! News.
A week ago, Nick Stahl -who played John Connor alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in ‘Terminator 3‘- went against doctors’ advice and left rehab early.
An E! News source claimed that Nick stayed at a friend’s house after he left rehab. The actor reportedly made a brief appearance in downtown Los Angeles before returning to his friends.
However, Nick Stahl left his friend’s house on Thursday night. The ‘Terminator 3′ actor had not been spotted since then.
“Now he’s disappeared,” the source informed E! News. “We can’t find him anywhere.”
Saying that Nick Stahl “has not made contact with anyone,” the source reported that “We are all just desperately looking for him.”
Their efforts to locate the vagabond actor have proven futile so far. “Everyone just wants him to come home,” the source added. “It’s a terrible situation. We are searching,” the source admitted, “But we’ve had no solid leads.”
This was not the first time the ‘Terminator 3′ actor went missing. Last May, E! News reported that he missed out on a visit to his daughter. His wife Rose filed a missing-persons report. Sources reported that Nick Stahl appeared at a West Hollywood apartment during this time. The police combed through downtown Los Angeles.
An apologetic Nick Stahl finally surfaced a week later. He sent an email to his friends, he apologized for “worrying everyone” and vowed to commit to his treatment program. He then stayed in rehab for a month before his recent exit and disappearance.

Troubled ‘Terminator 3′ star Nick Stahl ignored the advice of his doctors and checked himself out of rehab after just one month. He was last seen in downtown Los Angeles before once more disappearing from view.
E! News reported that a source told them Stahl left rehab a week ago. “He walked out against doctors’ advice,” said the source, supposedly because “He just didn’t want to be there anymore…”
According to the E! News source, the situation for Nick Stahl was “very sad. He’s still struggling,” the source described the ‘Terminator 3′ actor, “And has yet to hit rock bottom. Everyone is extremely worried about him.”
The source went on to claim that Nick Stahl briefly appeared in downtown Los Angeles a few days ago. The source does not know where Stahl is right now.
Stahl’s estranged wife Roseann did not answer or return calls made by E! News. She had been the one who filed the missing-person report during Stahl’s first disappearance last month.
E! News earlier reported that the ‘Terminator 3′ star went missing in downtown Los Angeles back in May. A week later, Nick Stahl reappeared. He sent an e-mail to friends that apologized for “worrying everyone.” Saying he wanted to get help, he checked himself into rehab to seek out treatment.
Nick Stahl is back, headed into rehab as promised

After disappearing for more than a week, Nick Stahl is back- and, as promised in his earlier email to his friends, now undergoing rehabilitation.
Last Friday, E! News reported that the 32-year-old ‘Terminator: Rise of the Machines‘ star contacted friends via an “unemotional” email and told them that he was okay. An E! News source added that, in addition to apologizing for “worrying everyone,” Stahl said that he wanted to get help and that he intended to seek treatment at a rehabilitation facility.
He did not, however, contact his wife Roseann Stahl, who had filed the missing-persons report more than a week ago.
The day after his email, E! News received exclusive confirmation from Roseann that Nick Stahl entered a Los Angeles rehabilitation facility Saturday night. The story is still ongoing.
According to Roseann, Nick Stahl had been “really working hard” to maintain sobriety before he disappeared. The couple have been at loggerheads over their 2-year-old daughter, with Roseann asking that her husband undergo drug testing 24 hours before visitations and submit to observation by a professional during visitations.

Sources close to Nick Stahl say the troubled ‘Terminator: Rise of the Machines’ actor has “gone missing” before, but never for more than a day.
In an exclusive scoop, E! News reported that a source claimed Stahl “has been having a tough time for a couple of months.” Adding that ”He’s an incredible individual, an amazing father,” the source admitted that “addiction is something he has always struggled with.”
And according to the source, this isn’t the first time Nick Stahl has seemingly dropped below the radar.
“He has gone missing for a day before,” the source tells E! News, “but never longer than that. [Nick Stahl] always gets in touch. This is the longest time he has been away,” notes the source.
In a move that hearkens back to his portrayal of off-the-grid hero John Connor, Nick Stahl “Doesn’t have a cell phone on him, so there is no way to contact him,” the source explains.
E! News reported on Wednesday that eyewitnesses saw the ‘Terminator: Rise of the Machines‘ star helping a friend carry boxes at a West Hollywood apartment complex last week. In Monday’s missing-person report filed by his wife, Roseann Stahl stated that she last saw her husband on May 9.
Nick Stahl and his estranged wife have a 2-year-old daughter, Marlo Stahl. Roseann Stahl filed court documents in February insisting that her husband only be allowed supervised visits with their child and that he undergo regular drug testing.
“He works so hard at staying sober,” admires the source, “But it’s a constant struggle. He has been to skid row before,” added the source, explaining why the police are searching for Stahl in downtown Los Angeles.
“Everyone just wants him to come home,” the source expresses.
LAPD officers have been going around downtown Los Angeles’ skid-row neighborhood with photos of the missing Nick Stahl and requests for locals to watch out for him. The LAPD has ruled out foul play so far.

The day after his wife filed a missing-persons report, Nick Stahl was reportedly spotted in West Hollywood by a source who was confident that the the man who played John Connor will be back.
E! News exclusively reported that two separate sources spotted ‘Terminator: Rise of the Machines‘ star hauling boxes outside a West Hollywood apartment complex on May 10. Nick Stahl supposedly wore a white T-shirt and tan pants.
The actor’s estranged wife, Roseann Stahl, claimed she last saw him the day after the source supposedly came across him.
According to the E! News exclusive, the West Hollywood eyewitness said that the actor “does this sometimes.” The source added, “He’ll be back.”
While he did not comment about what Nick Stahl was thinking at the time they crossed paths, the source did state that the 32-year-old ‘Terminator: Rise of the Machines’ actor left West Hollywood last Friday or Saturday.
Roseann Stahl filed a missing-persons report this Monday when her husband did not appear for his scheduled visitation.
Since February, Nick Stahl and his wife have been contesting for custody of their two-year-old daughter Marlo. Roseann Stahl filed court documents to request that Stahl be professionally supervised during his visitations and that her husband should pass a drug test before he saw the child.
Nick Stahl was in child custody battle with wife before disappearance

Even before he vanished–which prompted his wife Roseann to file a missing-person report on Monday–Nick Stahl reportedly worried his wife.
E! News obtained access to court papers that alleged Nick, 32, to be involved in a child custody battle with wife Roseann Stahl over their 2-year-old daughter Marlo Stahl.
Back in February, Roseann filed a request with a court that that her husband should not be allowed to visit their daughter unless he was supervised. She also asked for both legal and physical custody of Marlo Stahl, with Nick Stahl to receive only visitation rights.
According to the court papers, Roseann Stahl estimated the ‘Terminator: Rise of the Machines‘ actor’s 2011 income to be around half a million dollars. Roseann’s own income: $0. Her total monthly expenses: $6065. So Roseann requested Nick Stahl pay $3807 monthly in child support on March. The actor agreed.
Per the visitation order, Stahl was granted supervised visitation with their daughter. His visitation was to be monitored by a professional monitor. He was also forbidden from taking alcoholic beverages or narcotics at any time within the 24 hours before his scheduled visitation.
In addition, Nick Stahl was also ordered to provide a negative drug test result for marijuana, cocaine, and alcohol within 24 hours prior to his visitation. The ‘Terminator: Rise of the Machines’ star further needed to fax a copy of his negative drug test results over to Roseann Stahl at least six hours before he visited their daughter.
After filing the missing-person report on Wednesday, Roseann Stahl tweeted, ”Thank you for the kind words.’ She also retweeted a plea for anyone who knows where Nick Stahl is to inform the LAPD.
Nick Stahl disappears, wife Roseann files missing-person report

‘Terminator: Rise of the Machines’ actor Nick Stahl has dropped below the radar.
E! News has confirmed that Stahl’s wife, Roseann, filed a missing-person report with the LAPD this Monday. He was supposed to visit his daughter when he disappeared without a trace.
Back in February, his wife reportedly filed court papers stating that she and Nick Stahl were already living apart. Roseann Stahl also asked for full custody of their daughter Marlo Murphy.
In the court documents, Roseann Stahl expressed concern about her husband’s possible drug use. She requested proof that Stahl test negative for drugs 24 hours before seeing their daughter. She also asked that a professional monitor his visits.
The 32-year-old Nick Stahl played a grown-up John Connor in 2003′s ‘T3.’ He declined to reprise the role in ‘Terminator: Salvation.’
Earlier this year, he made headlines when he was arrested for refusing to pay a Hollywood cab driver an $84 fare. Nick Stahl stayed in prison for the night. He pleaded no contest to defrauding the cabbie and received a $50 fine, which the judge suspended after considering Stahl’s stay in jail.
