Looks like the gender bias issues in hiring new employees for a company has finally encompassed the image of female workers being the target of discrimination, such as incompetence to name one. At least that was what happened in the case of Jimmy Fallon. The master host of the show “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” has been accused of gender-based favoritism – that is by a male co-worker in the name of Paul Tarascio.

A lawsuit has been been filed accusing NBC Universal along with Jimmy Fallon for laying off capable male employees. This gender bias lawsuit was filed by the furious Paul Tarascio, formerly the first stage manager on Jimmy Fallon’s show. Paul Tarascio claims he has been replaced by a “totally incompetent woman” who repeatedly asked him how to do the job, and made a lot of mess in her stage manager duties – all because Jimmy Fallon now opts to “take direction from a woman”.

TMZ got a hold of the dispute and learned that along with Paul Tarascio, several other male employees in the late night program were also fired, such as audio technicians and a Prop-Master. Apparently, Jimmy Fallon was the one behind it all, as the host requested to replace the male employees who got laid off with female ones. Paul Tarascio is looking to recover his lost wages as well as unspecified punitive damages due to improper and unexpected dismissal from Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

As of the moment, representatives from NBC Universal along with Jimmy Fallon have not returned the calls yet nor did they give comments on the matter at hand.

Cases such as gender bias at work are just some of life’s realities – that people may sometimes be surprisingly replaced by ones who might not even know how to dress properly or button their shirt. What would be the verdict of the court should this lawsuit of Paul Tarascio against NBC Universal and Jimmy Fallon push through? Will it be proven that males are still the dominant ones at work or will the female workforce be the one with the upper hand now? That is something you should stay tuned for!
