Rhonda Aikman: “I wasn’t drunk, I was lost”
Rhonda Aikman, the former wife of Dallas Cowboys star Troy Aikman, argues that she did not do anything wrong when he was arrested by the police recently due to public intoxication. She claims that she was just lost when the police officers found her in a high school parking lot.
According to Larry Friedman, the lawyer of Rhonda Aikman, she was just lost — the result of bad directions — and was simply waiting for her friend to come and show her the right way. Friedman said, “When the policemen approached her, she reacted the way any of us would have reacted if we were approached from behind by two large men dressed in black. Rhonda was frightened and probably did not appear to be her usual friendly self.”
Friedman added that Rhonda Aikman is under the care of a doctor and had a rightful prescription for the medication cops found on her car. Friedman said, “She did nothing wrong and did not break any laws. She is sorry about all the fuss and intends to continue to dedicate her time to helping people in need in North Texas.”
As it was previously reported, Rhonda Aikman was arrested on Monday morning for public intoxication after the authorities found her in a parked vehicle, claiming that she was slurring her words when she talked and had little control over her body movement.
