Robert Herjavec  totaled his $350K Ferrari during a race and went on to land third place driving another Ferrari borrowed from a friend.

TMZ acquired cam footage of the fiberglass-shattering 130-kph crash this weekend during the Ferrari Challenge at the Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA. They also got to interview the nicest ‘shark’ in the reality show ‘Shark Tank.’

Reportedly worth more than $100 million, the 48-year-old Robert Herjavec was pitting his 2011 Ferrari 458 against similarly wealthy guys in very fast and expensive cars.

“I crashed in qualifying,” the ‘Shark Tank’ star said, “Bad and hard hit.”

Herjavec shared that, “I was having an amazing lap very fast, just off the course record, and then just thought I could go a little faster (what race car driver doesn’t?).”

He lost control and crashed into a wall at 130 kilometers per hour, which crumpled the front of his $350K Ferrari as if it was paper.

Miraculously, Robert Herjavec didn’t suffer any serious injuries. So he didn’t see any reason as to why he should drop out of the race. Instead, the ‘Shark Tank’ star got ANOTHER Ferrari.

“After the crash I went out and borrowed a friend’s car (good to have friends that lend you a $ 350K car) and 2 hours later I started in 29th and finished 5th. The next day, in the borrowed car, I got on the podium and finished 3rd ! Still leading in the points for the season,” Robert Herjavec proudly declared.
