R&B singer-songwriter Robin Thicke slammed his high-end sports car into another vehicle on Sunset Boulevard last Tuesday night.

According to the law enforcement, 35-year-old Robin Thicke was just leaving Hollywood hotspot Chateau Marmont when suddenly, another car cut him off. As such, it caused him to crash his black convertible Porsche sports car into a parked Volkswagen. Fortunately, the “Duets” judge was uninjured, but his sports car suffered from a serious damage to the front and back end. No one else was injured in the incident. Photos at the scene of the accident shows that the airbags had been deployed. The parked vehicle that was hit by the sports car of Robin Thicke was subsequently towed from the scene.

The police said that they do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved in the smash-up, and there is also no criminal investigation being conducted against Robin Thicke. A police officer eventually gave the singer a ride home later that night.

This is not the first time Robin Thicke had a run-in with the law. If you can recall earlier this year, he was arrested due to marijuana possession in Manhattan in February. A police source claims that the singer was sitting in a Cadillac Escalade sports car near 3rd Avenue and E. 21st St., smoking the joint when police officers approached his vehicle. He complied to the authorities and did not resist arrest.

“He wasn’t driving,” a source told the Daily News. “He was sitting in the car. He was arrested and a small amount of marijuana was recovered on him.”

“He was taking pictures with the cops. They were coming over to him and getting autographs,” added the source.

It looks like celebrity couple Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are currently being hunted down by the authorities from IRS after being issued a lien on their property due to their unpaid taxes.

According to official documents filed in Los Angeles, Robin Thicke and his “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” wife and actress Paula Patton owe the government $492,583.49 for failing to pay income taxes back in 2009 and 2010. However, a rep for the Thicke family said that the couple is aggressively trying to fix the problem, noting, “They’ve already paid more than half of this and they’re working with the IRS to pay the rest.”

Robin Thicke began courting actress Paula Patton at the age of 16. The couple tied the knot in 2005 and had a son named Julian Fuego Thicke. Robin’s father, actor Alan Thicke, is best known for playing patriarch Jason Seaver in the long-running ABC sitcom “Growing Pains.”

Paula Patton received critical acclaim for her role in 2009′s “Precious” and co-starred with Tom Cruise in the 2011 flick “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol,” while Robin Thicke has written and produced songs for Michael Jackson, Christina Aguilera and some others artists.

The 34-year-old Robin Thicke was in the Escalade with another person, added the police source, but the singer was the only one arrested and then charged with marijuana possession. Robin Thicke was extremely cooperative throughout the arrest. “He was taking pictures with the cops. They were coming over to him and getting autographs,” said the source. It was not clear where Robin Thicke was heading, though the singer provided the authorities with a lower East Side address. The ‘Lost Without U’ singer’s spokesman declined to comment on his arrest for marijuana possession.
