The estate of “Jackass” star Ryan Dunn has been sued by the parents of his passenger, Zachary Hartwell, who was also killed in the fatal car crash back in June 2011.

According to reports, George and Emma Hartwell, the parents of Zachary Hartwell, have filed a civil lawsuit in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County against the co-administrators of Ryan Dunn’s estate.

The lawsuit also named Barnaby’s West Chester, the Pennsylvania bar where Ryan Dunn drank for hours before the car crash. The suit of the Hartwells claims recklessness and negligence, as well as wrongful death in the incident that killed 30-year-old Zachary Hartwell.

George and Emma Hartwell, who are acting as the co-administrators of their son’s estate, claim that Barnaby’s West Chester was negligent in continuing to serve Ryan Dunn, who was already visibly inebriated.

The parents of Zachary Hartwell also claim in the lawsuit that Ryan Dunn showed recklessness and negligence in failing to drive his car under adequate and proper control, operating his car under the influence of alcohol, operating his car at an excessive rate of speed and violently crashing his vehicle of a road and into a tree, among other alleged violations.

The Hartwell couple is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages, as well as interest, court costs, and “delay damages as the law may allow.

Previous reports have stated that Ryan Dunn and Zachary Hartwell were both killed after the “Jackass” star’s Porsche 911 flew over a guardrail, struck a tree and burst into flames in West Goshen, Pa. Police added that Dunn’s vehicle was going at least 132 mph, and that he had a blood-alcohol concentration of .196 — way above the legal limit.
