DJ Sam Ronson has recently criticized socialite Paris Hilton for attempting to launch a career as a disc jockey, saying that it is a disgrace and an insult to the real professional DJs.

According to reports, Paris Hilton showed off her spinning skills last month by playing a short set during the Pop Music Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Sam Ronson heard of it and she is adamant that Paris should just leave the work to professionals.

England native Sam Ronson was out in Los Angeles on Thursday when she unloaded on the news of Paris Hilton launching a DJ career. She told TMZ, “That sh*t with [Paris]. It’s like, c’mon man. She’s tried everything now. Just put some quality behind the sh*t that you do. Put some effort into it.”

Ronson even gave the socialite an advice, saying that if she really wants to do it right, she should “be an actual DJ,” adding “If you’re just like, oh I want to figure out how I can make more money this week, it insults the people that work really hard at it.”

Ronson said, “It’s like me calling myself a doctor from reading WebMD twice.”

It appears that Sam Ronson, who is teaming up with DJ Afrojack on a new album, isn’t the only real DJ who is pissed at Paris Hilton. DJ Jane Bang already released a track that is anti-Paris.

When Deadmau5 also learned of Hilton’s DJ debut, he tweeted, “It’s over.”
