Hip-hop record producer Scott Storch can now walk the streets of Florida without fear of being arrested by the police, because a judge has already lifted the arrest order against him this week after paying off a big amount off of his child support debt.
According to reports, a warrant was issued for the arrest of 38-year-old Scott Storch earlier this month after missing a hearing in Florida over claims he had fallen behind on his court-mandated payments child support payments to his baby mama, Vanessa Bellido, amounting to a whopping $28,300 (£17,688).
The lawyer of Scott Storch said that the hitmaker — who filed for bankruptcy in 2009 after famously blowing his multi-million dollar fortune on girls, drugs and fast cars — managed to work out a deal with prosecutors and forked over a cheque worth $20,000 (£12,500) this week to lift the arrest warrant against him.
Scott Storch has been given six months to settle the remaining $8,300 child support debt.
Storch produces a variety of music, particularly hip hop, reggaeton, and R&B. His label, Storch Music Company (formerly Storchaveli Recordings) is responsible for signing Brooke Hogan and Nox. Scott Storch faces lawsuit from aspiring singer Treena Ruberg

Famous record producer Scott Storch is facing a lawsuit from an aspiring singer who claims that she paid Storch a large sum of money to produce her album – but then failed to because he was too drugged out to carry out the job.
According to reports, Treena Ruberg filed a lawsuit against 38-year-old Scott Storch – the legendary music producer who has worked with successful artists like Dr. Dre, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and more. Treena Ruberg claims that Storch agreed to produce six songs for her in exchange for $45,000 back in October 2011 – $30,000 of which she paid up front.
Ruberg’s lawsuit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, states that Scott Storch acknowledged to Treena Ruberg that he had a previous drug problem. However, the music producer insisted he was now “cured of his past problem” and would be able to deliver the tracks by the end of November. But Treena says Storch was lying, claiming that he “continued to have a drug addiction and other personal problems which rendered him incapable of producing any recordings.”
Now, Treena Ruberg says she wants her $30,000 back from Scott Storch, plus an additional $70,000 for all of the out-of-pocket expenses she incurred during the process – including plane flights, studio time and having to hire another producer.
New info on Scott Storch cocaine possession arrest revealed
February 22nd, 2012 by faye
Record producer Scott Storch has been arrested by the authorities earlier this month due to cocaine possession in Las Vegas, and now reports say that it all started with a hotel bill dispute.
According to the new reports released, Scott Storch was arrested at a Las Vegas hotel around 8:30 a.m. on February 4 due to cocaine possession. Sources say that the incident led to the arrest of the music producer after an employee of the hotel called police to complain that Scott Storch does not want to pay for his room. When the police arrived at the scene, the officers discovered Scott Storch was in possession of a controlled substance, which was later learned to be cocaine. The 38-year-old Storch was then taken into custody to a nearby police station for cocaine possession, where he was later released on a $5k bond. Apparently, Scott Storch tried to hide a bag of cocaine in a trash bin at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Vegas before the police arrived, this according to the police report. Moreover, the arresting officer says cops fished out the bag after receiving a tip from hotel security, and discovered the bag contained 2.7 grams of blow, which led to Storch’s arrest for cocaine possession.
In an interview, Scott Storch explained regarding his cocaine possession arrest, “It’s just a matter of regaining respect and trust, but as far as track record, I think I have done way above the average producer in the world. My cocaine addiction was based on being trapped in it through, not so much, depression or escape, but it was more like partying too much and having too much fun until it got unhealthy. I just made a change in my life.”
“It really isn’t a battle or a constant thing. It’s just something I don’t want to do,” Scott Storch continued, regarding his cocaine addiction. “I like the way I feel so it hasn’t been a thought…Dre was there for me. I remember Ludacris came over to check on me to make sure I was ok, just having heard stuff. Different people that care about me…my boy Adam. You know, just various people have remained loyal to me. Quincy Jones. I would have to say Timbaland.”
“I’m taking it back to square one,” Scott Storch also said. “I found myself slipping a little bit, got involved in doing drugs and you know, I had to get myself into recovery, realized I was powerless over it and you know, being in the life that I was living, very fast moving, option to do or buy anything you want, go anywhere you wanna go definitely takes its toll on you. And you lose your concept of reality with the drugs and everything, had to get it under control so I’m taking it back to the beginning, back to the Hit Factory where I made a lot of my hits.”
