There’s yet another actor in the Hollywood industry who disapproves the performance and awards that R&B singer Chris Brown grabbed during the 2012 Grammys. Stand-up comedian and actor Seth Rogen slammed singer-songwriter Chris Brown when he hosted the Independent Spirit Awards held in Los Angeles.
The 29-year-old Rogen blasted a number of people, Oscars producer Brett Ratner being the first one on his list as he reminded the audience how Ratner was fired for using gay slur. Seth Rogen also made a number of snide comments about actor Mel Gibson, but his real target , where he laid most of the remarks was award-winning singer, Chris Brown and the Grammys.
“Without awards season we wouldn’t know what a horrible bigot Brett Ratner was. The Grammys seem much more forgiving than the Oscars,” said Seth Rogen, explaining, “You say a few hateful things, they don’t let you within a hundred yards of the Oscars… But you could literally beat the s**t out of a nominee, they ask you to perform twice at the Grammys!”
But there seems to be more than Seth Rogen. One artist, who apparently agrees with the comedian is Jay-Z, who is reportedly not impressed that Chris Brown and Rihanna have teamed up again. According to a source, “Jay wonders what kind of message this is sending to Rihanna’s young female fans. Rihanna knows how Jay feels about Chris Brown, but she doesn’t care, she is going to do what she wants.”
The source added, “Since Blue Ivy’s birth, he is even more protective of the women in his life. Jay has told Rihanna he will never give his blessing for what she is doing with Chris. He has told her this isn’t going to end well, it never does. In Jay’s opinion, Chris has rage issues that he doesn’t think have been dealt with.”
