TV host and music manager Sharon Osbourne appeared during the Monday episode of “Late Show with David Letterman,” where she confirmed leaving the reality competition show “America’s Got Talent” while taking a jab at the network of NBC.
According to reports, 59-year-old Sharon Osbourne, who was reportedly upset with NBC for firing her son Jack from “Stars Earn Stripes,” told host David Letterman that while “America’s Got Talent” is “the most fabulous show to work on … but it’s just time, you know when your gut tells you … [it’s] time to move on, do other things.”
Osbourne also noted, “I truly do love the show. If I wasn’t on it, I’d still watch it.”
She then proceeded to praise new AGT judge Howard Stern as “such a great guy … he’s brilliant on the show.”
However, when Letterman asked Sharon Osbourne if everything else between Osbourne and NBC was “fine,” she could not resist slamming the network.
“Wasn’t it terrible about the Titanic?” she asked Letterman, drawing audience laughter. “Shame, wasn’t it?”
Sharon Osbourne has been very outspoken in claiming that her son, Jack, was dropped from NBC’s new reality show “Stars Earn Stripes” — which pits celebrities against each other in military-style exercises — after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
NBC denied the claims made by Sharon Osbourne, saying that they offered the younger Osbourne other positions on the series, which he decided to turn down.
“Although we did not ask Jack to participate in the competition, we were able to offer him two substantial alternative roles on the show, both of which he declined. This network does not discriminate on any basis,” NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt said in a statement.
Sharon Osbourne quitting “America’s Got Talent”

Sharon Osbourne is abandoning her post as judge in the reality competition “America’s Got Talent.”
According to reports, on Tuesday, 59-year-old Sharon Osbourne said that she is now ready to bid goodbye to NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” which apparently took the network by surprise.
Sharon Osbourne took to Twitter her decision, directly addressing “my darling” fellow judge Howard Stern. She wrote, “money is not the reason I’m not returning” to the show. The tweet of Ozzy Osbourne’s wife trailed off with “it’s because ….” and didn’t explain further.
During a meeting on Tuesday of the Television Critics Association, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt said that the message of Sharon Osbourne was totally unexpected.
“This is coming out of context and sort of spontaneously, and we don’t even know what’s going on. And it’s probably much ado about nothing,” Greenblatt said, declining to give any more comment.
Osbourne has a multi-year contract with “America’s Got Talent,” said a person familiar with the production of the TV show. The person, who lacked authority to publicly discuss the issue, spoke on condition of anonymity.
“America’s Got Talent,” which is now airing its seventh season, added Howard Stern to the judges’ panel this year and moved the production of the show from Los Angeles to New York so they will be able to accommodate him. Howie Mandel is the show’s third judge.
The representative of Sharon Osbourne did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The Twitter post from Osbourne, who also happens to be a co-host of “The Talk,” appeared to be talking about one posted Monday on the account for Stern’s radio show.
Stern “isn’t sure if he’ll do another season and says Sharon Osbourne may not come back unless she gets more money,” the tweet read.
When asked whether Howard Stern intended to stay with the reality competition, Don Buchwald, his agent, responded via email that “we do not respond to inquiries of this sort.”
Earlier Tuesday, NBC entertainment president of alternative programming Paul Telegdy told the critics’ meeting that he was “thrilled” with Stern. Looking beyond this season of “America’s Got Talent,” Telegdy added, “We’d be delighted if Howard wants to come back.”
Kelly Osbourne gets drunk during flight, has to be carried out
July 6th, 2012 by edsel
Kelly Osbourne reportedly got so drunk during a recent flight from LAX to Atlanta that her assistant and a security guard had to carry her out of the plane.
Perez Hilton reported that the British-born Fashion Police star supposedly started out so well. “She was gorgeous when she got on the flight,” an eyewitness said of Kelly Osbourne. “Her makeup was impeccable,” said the source, “Her hair was up in a smart-looking bun, and she was wearing cool shades” to boot.
However, the daughter of Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne allegedly proceeded to ruin that chic image by drinking herself into a dazed stupor.
The Perez Hilton source claimed to have seen “a flight attendant bring alcoholic beverages over to the First Class section that Kelly Osbourne occupied.” The attendant repeated the process “at least four or five times,” said the eyewitness.
“And when we landed just after midnight,” the source continued, “Her assistant… had to help her off the plane.”
According to the Perez Hilton source, Kelly Osbourne and her assistant “were the last to leave.” They met up with “a burly security guard” at the airport arrivals lounge. The guard and Kelly’s assistant “basically carried her down the corridor to the airport tram.”
Ozzy’s daughter was reportedly “swaying from side to side” as her assistant and the guard carried her. “Kelly’s hair was hanging down,” said the source, “She was mumbling and her makeup was a mess.”
Kelly Osbourne was not the only member of the Osbourne clan who was feeling down. Her brother Jack Osbourne was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and her famous dad Ozzy Osbourne had to cancel a concert in Germany because his throat was not up to singing.

Adding that “It’s been amazing,” Sharon believes said that “I really believe that vibes of prayer help” her son Jack deal with his multiple sclerosis.
Mother’s guilt prompted her to admit that “I’m just feeling sorry for myself and that is no good.” Sharon Osbourne also said that she has and her family “have to think positively” in order to weather the crisis.
According to Gossip Cop, Sharon said that Jack would appear on ‘The Talk’ on Wednesday to discuss his diagnosis.

Sharon Osbourne slams Simon Cowell over his unauthorized biography
April 19th, 2012 by faye
Music manager Sharon Osbourne slammed Simon Cowell after being dragged into his unauthorized biography which mentions Osbourne leaving “The X Factor” due to an alleged affair between Simon and Australian singer and TV personality Dannii Minogue.
According to reports, 59-year-old Sharon Osbourne is annoyed about being involved into the sensational details of the upcoming biography of Simon Cowell. In an interview with “The Talk,” Sharon said, “He draws to I left because he had an affair with Dannii. Now, I couldn’t care if he was having sex with anything. It’s not my business, I don’t care, I’m not interested and that is not the reason why I left, and I’m like, pissed off because you’ve got a whole career, you’ve got a whole everything to talk about—about your achievements, about what you’ve done for the world of competition and everything. Why bring Mrs. O into your messing around?”
Sharon Osbourne continued, “I left because I didn’t like that girl. I didn’t like working, and I had just…it was at a time when I was newly over my cancer, and I promised myself I wouldn’t be in a situation where I wasn’t 100 percent happy…When it’s not fun, you go, and it wasn’t fun. Simon Cowell likes to glamorize. He loves attention. He loves all the publicity he’s getting. And the thing is, nobody leaves Simon, he fires you.”
Meanwhile, in another interview, Sharon Osbourne told Britain’s Daily Mirror that she is more concerned about why her name is mentioned in the book, “The Intimate Life Of Simon Cowell” by Tom Bower.
“I’m not Simon’s mother. I don’t give a toss who he has sex with,” she told the publication. “That’s none of my business. I think Simon thought he’d have complete control over this book.”
“But how dare he bring me into it now? I don’t want to be dragged into his little world of debauchery, thank you very much,” Osbourne added.
“We all knew Simon and Dannii were seeing each other, it wasn’t a secret. He’d already split from Terri.”
Sharon Osbourne revealed that she left her role on the hit British show because “Simon Cowell always ends up firing everyone.” She went on, saying, “I didn’t want to give him that satisfaction,” she added. “He always wants someone younger and perky sat next to him.”
Sharon Osbourne then concluded, “I think Simon Cowell is a victim of small-penis syndrome.”
